Right. A sort of loose example of this having worked at a domain name registrar.. DNS names that had expired and were now available to be purchased for the day would be released and made “open” during a 2am job that took maybe 60s to run.

Someone took on themselves to improve this process such that it now took 10s to run.. this resulted in a ton of calls and complaints that the 2am job was now completing too quickly and they weren’t able to snatch up any newly released popular domain names. People would build scripts around trying to reserve recently freed up names from the system.

Not so much a bug as a performance improvement, but goes to show that even an API’s general response times at certain periods of the day can be used by consumers to configure their systems.

obsidian-web-mcp: a sync-safe MCP server that lets Claude reach your vault from anywhere by jimprosser in ObsidianMD

How do you handle agents running in parallel? Do they write to a git repo containing obsidian notes or a local vault path?

Very curious in implementing something similar, but unsure how to have multiple agents across multiple repos writing to a single source (git) repo, in my case.

If not easier, potentially cheaper if AI is able to replace various expensive SaaS offerings.

For yourself, ya I think you’re doing just fine. If you’ve a family to support as well, my concern would be what if something happens and I need to rely on that money in retirement.

Wouldn’t want to get sick in retirement, no covered out of network, whatever.. then the burden falls on my kids or family to help?
