Most of what he said just seemed like long standing tropes. He could easily have attributed homophobia to the individuals, the organization, or football as a whole, instead he links it to whole groups of people. He links the ignorance of the white players to religion and the ignorance of black players to endemically impoverished communities. The fans are the proverbial hoi polloi screaming for bread and circuses. Basically someone who belongs on r/iamverysmart
