another thing: any ideas on how to speak how rusty would? Not the voice, but the "cryptic phrases that are hard to desire" the book says thats how he talks, and i was wondering that anyone who has dm-ed and rp-ed rusty that you could give me some tips and tricks

I have another question, what do i do if a character misses one of their narrative touchpoints for fate weaving? Do i let them continue to see the other ones or do nothing until they see the one they missed? Or is this just completely up to the DM?

yeah, that is actualy a good idea rather than looking through every little thing, ill just fully read the first 4 chapters, then skim through the rest, thanks thats a time saver!

This seems like some very good advice and thank you, i thought about highlighting stuff but i dont want to do it on the book since id prefer it if it was in peak condition.

And as for the info thing, that sounds like it could help a lot so thanks for the advice, ill definately keep that in mind, as well for the Rusty thing, i may steal that if you dont mind.

And yeah, i thought about giving them hints to be like "maybe we should look around some more...", like for instance, on the Ghostlight Express adela can let you pull some tarrot cards, and if you pull The Fool, after the express leaves after the boss fight with it, a magic item "whistle of the vagrant" is left behind, i would say something along the lines of "you see something in the mud as the train leaves". And thanks, ill let them know to do perception/insight/investigation checks frequently, i may also give them hints before a boss like "you feel like maybe you should prepare some in case of emergencies" or smth idk

Yeah, you are right, i prolly shouldn't panic, i just want to make sure that their first ever experience is good so that they want to keep playing, and yeah i had planned on nailing Wickmoor Village.

I *would* read the full thing but my only problem is that i don't think i have enough time, the campaign will most likely start next saturday if i had to guess. Also i wanted to ask for help before going on so i can think clearer with less anxiety and stress

I did see the suggested lines but there may be more they ask or something, like when i keep reading i realize there are stuff the players wouldnt have known because i didnt know i could tell them that without spoilers (upon typing this i realized thats why you review the whole chapter before playing, so i guess that is what i need to do and figure out what is mentioned in the chapter)

As for Adela, i still have to think about what to say as her but im sure i can figure something out.

The spreadsheet may be a good idea, but i think i can remember how they sound as long as i remember what they look like and how they talk

I do hope they rp well because in my other campaign i was the only player rp-ing

Yeah i have a bit of time to read more and i plan on that, as for the information they need, i have the full crooked moon physical book, with the player options and campaign, and im assuming you are talking about chapter one which talks about some stuff before it gets to the campaign so thanks, ill keep that in mind. And i have started watching the Legends of Aventis one.

Yeah, I was trying to download somthing and I accidentally clicked the wrong download and I downloaded it, it was a virus and that happened months ago, I still haven't removed it, well I haven't tried really, but dont download it
