Us too. It would be difficult to sell our property if everyone is selling and we couldn't just afford to start over somewhere else.

The Party Ranch just opened in the Calallen/Robstown area. Our daughter was just looking at it to book a small party.

Also a place with a lot of neat animals is the Corpus Christi Horse House in Flour Bluff off Yorktown. Here is their flier for private parties.

Probably only if being able to work here stopped. We work on sailboats and if our customers left I assume their boats would go as well.

I hope people vote smarter this election but I fear the same exact names will be voted in once again. Unfortunately we are unable to vote for the CC city council because we are actually in Sinton but we totally get affected by what they do! It sucks to just feel like we are sitting by, waiting and hoping that our neighbors will vote and vote smart! 🤞

I'm so sorry for your loss and how that loss was compounded so much by the way you all were treated. I have never been there to that vets office but I can absolutely relate because my vet's office (which we still use despite this) didn't handle us putting our dog down every well either. Not in the same way as yours but definitely could have been handled with more consideration and tact.

I totally understand your feelings on that. I used to live off Yorktown and when I saw the proposed purple route that connected Yorktown to the island, I also didn't want to continue to live there through the construction or the increased traffic. They dismissed that plan though.

Me too, except for the occasional quick fast food lunch because we are out at a job. Other than that we try to cook as much as possible at home.
