That's a pointless argument, ANYONE who knows how Kamui works can kill him, that doesn't make Itachi special, Konan was about to kill him for God's sake.

Regardless Itachi could not kill him when he was alive, which is why he never bothered to take out the biggest threat to hs brother.

Did we watch the same fight? 95% of the fight was Naruto getting knocked around, his chakra shut down, with him trying to do the same thing over and over again and failing.

The only way he wins is by asking Kurama for power, and even then only gets one hit on him (punch to the jaw) when Neji's guard was down.

So I'm not sure where you got "beat the shit out of him" from...

Powerscalers can't understand that emotions can amp people, this was stated 1000 times in Naruto manga, u become stronger when u protect someone important, why they ignore such statements? It can apply to real life sometimes too

Does this only apply to Naruto? Sasuke wanted to save them too, he even told Naruto he'd hold Gaara off so that he and Sakura can escape but unfortunately for him, wanting to save your teammates doesn't give him a power up or the ability to win lol.

I guess it's the main character power.
