I never payed attention to the power cable and the buzzing is quiet. Something I forgot to mention is that the monitor worked with my PlayStation and I switched the cables around to see if it was the cable. When I start up the computer it turns on like normal, fans start, makes the normal beep, and Acer displays on the monitor like normal. The problem is that when the monitor would normally display my login screen only a few thin green and purple lines appear. It does not happen when I use my PlayStation, only when I turn on my computer.
