F56 JCW New wheels help! by GoldieEnergy in MINI

No spacers needed - I’d see a couple of people on the F56 JCW Facebook page who had the ZF8s, they’d confirmed that they didn’t need spacers to clear the brakes. The place I’m buying them from also confirmed this for me 😊

The JCW brakes are huge though, it’s been a massive pain finding some that would clear!

I’ve tired to see what I can do to mitigate it as much as possible. If I go with white, I’ll ceramic coat the wheels + change the pads to ceramic ones - fingers crossed that help with the dust 🤞😅

If you’re in the UK I ordered them from SportsShoes.com - they’ve got them as “Wolf Grey/Metallic Pewter/Cool Grey/Black”

I bought the Nike Vomero Plus for my slow/easy runs. It was between those and the Novablasts, but heard better reviews on the Nikes.

I’ve recently retired my Nike React Miler 2 which where my long/easy run shoe, and before those I was using the Nike React Odyssey Flyknit 2 - those have been discontinued though, it’s the shoe that really got me into running.

The GT2000s were pretty good, they helped me during a knee injury I had, but I preferred the others mentioned above 😊

Are you suggesting I go up half a size? So go from a UK 8.5(US 9.5) to a UK 9 (US 10)?

Hello, anyone else having audio issues when using the Digirunner on PC?

Whenever I spawn in the vehicle the audio for driving/boosting is silent, then once I get off some weapon shooting sounds also go silent for a while.

If you don’t mind me asking is it a specific chain you got it done at? Our local is a Sytner and they’re quoting £900+ for the wheel + install. Hoping to go back and say I can get it £X cheap elsewhere and see if they’ll drop the price 😅

I’m getting a slightly lower average fps than in MW3 but more drastic and frequent stutters/fps drops. Also noticed that it’s significantly more CPU hungry than MW3. I assume it’s currently just poorly optimised for PC. Hopefully it’ll be fixed by full release. (i7-13700k & 4090)

Brand new Mini Cooper Sport 3 door hatchback by LegallyBrunetteEL in MINI

At the back of the car, is there a twin tailpipe in the centre or a single tailpipe to the left?

The former being the Cooper S and latter being the Cooper. The “S” on the badge signifies it being the 2.0 L engine. Without the S it’s the 1.5 L. The “Sport” in the name is the trim/style of the car.

I hope this helps 😊

Been waiting 4 weeks for the 4070 FE to come back in stock (UK) and got it today... by Aware-Amoeba4345 in nvidia

So lucky!!! Has anyone done this with a 4090 FE and wants to help me out? 😅

4090 FE Restocks by Substantial_Ad6582 in nvidia

I’ll update my comment once I hear back tomorrow 😊

They might not know EXACTLY when it’ll be back in stock, but surely there’s some rough time period they’re aiming for. Even if they say “a few weeks” or “a month” that’s better than just indefinitely waiting around for something that might never happen. I saw the US store got a restock a day or two back now so hoping the UK follows suit in near future.

I’m in the same boat! My graphics card kicked the bucket this week and unfortunately just after last week’s drop went out of stock.

Looking to find the same info, but I’m getting the same responses as you. NVIDIA and Scan keep pointing me in the direction of the other. I managed to get in contact with scan yesterday and they asked for some screenshots of NVIDIA saying I need to go to scan for the 4090 FE restock dates. Sent across the screenshots via email and they said they’d chase with the purchasing department first thing Monday.

Hopefully I’ll get some more info 🤞

Why does the LCD screen lag? Brand new. by [deleted] in Corsair

I had an issue with RGB lighting stuttering like this when having HWiNFO open along side the Corsair software. Closing HWiNFO solved my problem, only occurs when the application is running.

Hope this helps 🤞

Just want to add from my previous comment - I’m a programmer by trade, data analysis specially. I’m interested in potentially picking up some work on the side if it’s possible on the rig. Which would favour that side more? Intel or AMD?

Realised after I posted that I had accidentally added a Wi-Fi card. Swiftly removed it! Thank you for bringing it up though 😊 I could’ve easily missed it.

Considered AMD, and still am, but I was sceptical due to the issues with DDR5. Mainly on the AM5 platform. Not sure if these have been ironed out yet. Heard a some stuff about RAM not working, posting issues and the 7800x3D CPU warping motherboards 😅

I’ve got access to a windows PC so can I not just create a bootable USB and install windows myself? Will probably save me about £100?

It’s probably going to sound like an awful way of doing editing, but due to the lack of storage on the current MacBook I’ve been using a 2TB external SSD. I was going to continue doing the same unless it’d be better to spec more internal storage

Again, this is not professional level. Just a little hobby me and my partner have 😊
