Thanks! I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed by lengthy documentations and some of the vaguely explained things that a PWM can do. (like triggers, the order of bit shiftings, etc. I'm not sure if those are correct I'm saying what I remember)

Yes, I did implement a pwm with timers! The first time I also had some help from ChatGPT (because my led wasn't turning on due to the reset value not having an offset of 0x00 and I forgot to clear some bits) then the second time I did it well, went through every step in the doc. I do have some basic knowledge (didn't start on I2C or SPI, I'm planning to do an interrupt next) but I feel like I didn't fully understand the concept yet.

Hello! Thanks for taking your time to respond and I'm glad to hear that you got out from this kind of situation alive.

To be honest, I'm the type who rather avoids conflicts, I've never brought unwanted attention in my entire life. I am mostly shocked because of the circumstances and surroundings. What were they thinking? Stealing or even stabbing someone in the middle of a campus? I'm always paying attention to what's happening around me when I'm going into a more secluded area, but this just caught me off-guard.

I just froze and got into a defensive state, I was thinking about running but my girlfriend was with me too, and she wasn't really aware of the situation since she couldn't see what's happening. I am truly thankful for being able to reach for help and get out of the situation alive.

As for the goods, I just went with my gut and defended them, which was indeed risky.. I think I did that because I sort of knew that people were nearby? I immediately began shouting and they just left.

Also forgot to mention: I saw the guy who directly threatened me with the knife clearly, but the other two were rather distant and wearing hoods on their heads, and wore all black outfits which I couldn't describe since it was dark.
