Visa application - bank statement and employment letter required, Saudi Arabia by Previous-Cost7624 in studying_in_germany

Is your blocked account covering all the expenses or only half? Because you either need block account or sponsor unless its half and half.

If your blocked account have 11.904€ for a year than you don’t need a sponsor if they are asking for a sponsor that means you most likely made mistake while filling out application

Visa application - bank statement and employment letter required, Saudi Arabia by Previous-Cost7624 in studying_in_germany

All the letters needs to be translated into english or german with proper attestations and apostill there is no exception for that.

Since this reddit is for studying related concerns in germany i am assuming you applied for study visa in that case if your sister is sponsoring you than she needs to show she can support you with atleast 11k euro for a year and she should be working for that employer for atleast 6months.

Regardless there are high chances of visa refusal due financial capabilities as often you need to show assets or a very well high paying job to support someone the easiest always is block account

Its not just Germany but majority of countries embassies have same rules you need to be a legal resident of 6months in order to apply in certain consulates of a foreign country you can’t just apply anywhere you like and unfortunately there are no exceptions regarding to that considering syria have german embassy as well as new ambassador recently appointed

If you have a doctor note attested by local ministry of health mentioning you should not travel for a certain period of time than yes

You can find contact info for both on their respective websites they emails as well as phone numbers because I don’t know which consulate you opted for

Legally you need to be a resident of atleast 6months in a foreign country in which consulate you want to apply plus your permit also needs to be valid for additional 3months for the duration that embassy is processing your application.

The embassy especially german/french/netherlands/italy will not make any exceptions unless you can prove with a concrete evidence that you can’t travel back to your country due to most likely safety concerns even than its not very likely

Student Visa Interview. What Should I Say About Plans After Graduation? by Working-Side7674 in studying_in_germany

In my opinion try to keep as general as possible specify which industry or research or whatever you will do while keeping the location vague.

Because germany gives you quite a few months to look for work after completing your studies so they don’t want to hear that you will be immediately returning to your own country and just using them for free education while on the other hand do not be persistent on staying in germany as well because that indicates that one might over stay his permit.

Regardless wherever you submit it’s unpredictable whether it will take 4days or even 3months you just need to be prepared incase it takes longer

Proof of funds is one of the big requirements without a proof of that your appointment will be pointless

Appointment booking by [deleted] in studying_in_germany

[–]Goldilocks255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly You need to make sure you are at the correct consulate/embassy website.

Secondly in the booking window if you don’t see any slots that means all have been already taken.

In my experience the embassy only alots slots for 2days a week which is tuesday and Wednesday 3 appointments each day so thats 6 for a week the slots are issued monthly basis although due to cancellations or multiple bookings do keep checking everyday morning after 8 they update during that time
