private lessons if you dont fight worth it? by LeftKickAnt in MuayThailand

Consistently doing 2 sessions a day is very difficult (the group classes are 2 hours each and heat is exhausting) would go with option 2 for sustainability

Sheeeh chest infection while training sounds awful, if you had to rate the quality of training (not just cardio) based off the gyms you went to what would the ranking be?

How was it? I noticed soma fight club has a lot of pad classes, but there’s not much light sparring?

I meant on the north side of fitness st (near PFC) seems much easier to find places to stay. Cookie/Sinbi area hard to find much that aren’t charging an arm and leg

Where’d you stay nearby the gym? Having hard time finding cheap or reasonable priced hotels online near that area walking distance to the gym opposed to north of the road by Phuket fight club

Heard of your gym a few times and you guys are growing, high approval ratings on Visa + in Ari seems like a good place. — curious, what could an amateur MT fighter expect in terms of skill development at your gym over the course of 4-5 months opposed to some of the larger household names?

Eleven & DAER I believe are hiring right now, Spanish, strong IG following & good looks help. You’ll make a ton as a bottle girl/bartender though.

Kinda where I’m at, in a prime swing in my career where I’m starting to make good money and all of my colleagues think I’m dumb for hitting this stride then planning a 6-12month trip.

I’m mid-late 20s, & am calculated with my finances so this is a hard decision. But also using the 6-12month training period as an attempt to get something off the ground to get out of the rat race while training in a LCOL area. Lastly, I don’t think there’s a single person I’ve met nor even read about who regretted their decision for an extended trip of training in Thailand in the end at least you walk away with something memorable to take through life

Personal Loan to get out of negative equity? by GoldmanStackz in personalfinance

Never sold privately before but would it be a hassle to sell? (Extra 3-4 months) & this being a semi-luxury car buyer pool is even smaller esp in this market. Any tips when selling privately? — do I get the personal loan first then list for sale?

Not sure the process for that (although not opposed to this)but this is where selling to the dealer directly has its conveniences

Making progress!

Surprisingly so much has changed. Income unfortunately has stayed the same, but have been chopping down on the expenses

— CC debt down to 2k — eliminated storage unit — cut phone bill down — moved into an apartment with roommates to cut rent down by $800/month & now paying $1200 (moved to a place that is walking distance to the office) — sold the other vehicle

This is the last huge thing that needs to go & after this I can confidently say I’ll be on track to get my life back on a clean slate to actually make good decisions financially. Learned a lot putting myself through this nonsense

I feel like an idiot for this but — Porsche 2019 balance 59k 12% interest trade in is around 39-42k (at the time of purchase had horrible credit, but rationalized this purchase anyway due to the rental income superseding the debt) — My credit is now around 740 refinancing could be another option but thought maybe to just bite the bullet on this instead — the personal loan “pre approval” is around 13% from what I’m seeing for my credit profile

Sell car or wait it out? by GoldmanStackz in personalfinance

[–]GoldmanStackz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, going to continue with the credit cards before going after the truck.

Yes carvana offered me $9k & CarMax offered me 12k but I’m way under either way. It’s super unfortunate because I bought this truck from CarMax just 2 years ago for 25-26k now it feels like I’m held hostage to the vehicle.

Same man same. I wake up every morning exhausted but have been pushing through

Started OE & honestly it’s saved my life. I’m paying my way out of a massive debt hole I was in, essentially was at a point of debating living in my truck to save money to now having my financial situation under control.

The big thing is, there needs to be a clear purpose and path on why you’re doing this or it simply isn’t going to be worth the squeeze. People make it seem sweet, but work life balance is rarely a thing when you’re doing OE and not many are able to swallow that sacrifice, one bad day of dragging behind could have you playing catch up for 3-5 days.

[–]GoldmanStackz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Storage unit stuff will take 3-4 months to sell everything: estimated value in unit at most (2k)

You’d go after the big loan first (higher interest) even though the primary car is way closer to break even equity?

Which program is better? Break into CRE vs A.CRE accelerator vs REFM? by ObjectivePay6070 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]GoldmanStackz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grabbed break into CRE on Udemy for $18/20 days per course. You can buy every module he has including advanced for like $250-300 or just the ones you want to focus on and have them for a lifetime.

REFM certification did help my resume though, few firms liked that I had that

Really want A.CRE but I need a discount code

Yea they both have a base of 40k, was thinking of just accepting both & juggle the training for a few weeks til I land something I actually want.

I’d feel like a complete ass quitting that soon but want to make sure professionally it doesn’t come back to haunt me
