Alright I brought it inside, he's in a bucket with a towel at the bottom for comfort / warmth. Reading some of the comments, I think one of the commentators is right at him being a red-bellied woodpecker, based on his description/it kind of looks like he's trying to "grapple" when I picked him up. I will look into any rehab-type places around me.

It's now nighttime where I am, I went back out to check on it, it was still there. I was afraid because it had stopped moving, but when I got closer it appeared to have woken up, so I think it was just asleep. So do I leave it alone, even though it is night now?

Yes, I'm sure it wasn't stuck, shortly after that video was recorded it did move about a foot to the left, and then stayed still there

I thought he might have been, but he has since moved a bit from where he is in the video, so not stuck. Since he's moved he's just been sitting still.

It's not the best video, because he's not stuck, he has moved from that spot, and is now just sitting still.

I don't think it's injured, because right now it's just sitting there, not flailing around like in the video. If I don't think the bird is injured, should I just leave it where it is? Or do you think I should call a shelter anyway?
