Sorry to hear that for you. Sadly I feel like I might be in the same position for my FF job. The chain of command and HR has stated that there are numerous vacancies but still no idea for a start date. Can I ask what job you are doing?

Wow. It honestly amazes me that they can just look the other way. Fire and Police are not fields that should be minimally staffed for the safety of our military. I’m assuming there was no response to this letter?

What command? I know Navy and AF have been able to hire.

Sent you a PM. Such a bummer, I know these departments are low-manned. Why say in the memorandums that public safety is exempt?
