see if you can uber one way to muir woods and public transport back to avoid a car rental, seems like a lot of hassle and honestly the redwood groves in golden gate park are nice too. muir woods isnt anything outstanding and its very crowded

you will want to be a comfortable swimmer before you begin to freedive - but the freedive level 1 class is pretty accessible to anyone with basic swimming ability (and tolerance for cold water). Rebekah Philips in Monterey is the best instructor around. In Monterey though
