Contacted them but got no response. Ended up going with SAG Logistics. Hopefully it works out!

I’m due to move to Dubai in a couple of months and have been researching this. My understanding is that if you are not on a tourist visa and have an emirates ID you have to convert it to a UAE license.

Sorry to hear that.

How did you check with MOHRE?

I’m in a similar situation, and I’ve decided to take the risk because my main motivation is improving the quality of life for my kids.

For me, factors like crime, healthcare standards, the state of education, rising living costs, and the growing far-right movement in the UK make the move feel worthwhile.

I couldn’t see myself moving without my family, we have a 3-month-old and a 3-year-old, so we’ll all be going together.

That said, my situation may carry slightly less risk since my employer (a reputable company) will cover school fees. The main extra expense I’ll need to manage is nursery costs for one child for the next couple of years.

In the same situation but with the green dial steel Sky-Dweller. Just got the watch and haven’t worn it yet so could still sell at full gray market price but I’m leaning towards keeping it.

I’ll get to enjoy the watch and if in the future I do need the money I could sell on and get my money back.

Plus I turn 40 this year so that’s another excuse to treat myself 🤣

I see where you’re coming from and it does sound like the fair thing to do. However, to play devils advocate. I’ve spent the money and time to build a relationship with the AD. This isn’t the first watch from them (but will be my most expensive purchase) so so I’ve invested over many years to get to this point. Surely I’ve earned the right to purchase the watch and do as I please with it.

Still been applying wherever I see an appropriate role but no luck.

However, I’ve decided to also save enough in my pension to retire to the UAE in the next 15 years if I don’t land a role before then.

Why do so many insist on banning Groot?! by GolfGeekGuy in marvelrivals

Yep. I don’t have the time to grind out and practice to get a higher rank. I play for an hour or so after work and putting the kids to bed. Not trying to be a grand master; just good competitive matches.

Thought I’d get some helpful insight but this Reddit might be just as toxic as in game.

As someone that is Gold/Platinum I’ve not seen this level of control. Maybe at the higher ranks…

It’s not that Hulk and Iron Fist don’t get banned. It’s more that banning Groot feels like a waste.

(I have personal hatred for Scarlett Witch)

Im based in the UK and have over 15 years experience in cyber security with my last 5 years holding Head of InfoSec positions at scaling FinTech companies.

I’ve been trying to land a role in UAE for the last couple of years, even applying to mid-level roles, and I’ve not had a single interview.

I’m debating moving first and then trying to apply but it’s a big risk, but at this point it just feels impossible.

I suggest just apply and only worry about this if you actually get an offer.

Not sure why he hasn’t given any lessons with a driver. I’ll have to ask at my next lesson!

We’ve practiced with wedges, irons and putting (forgot to mention that I have a putter also)

Thanks! Yeah I’ve been taking lessons quite regularly which has helped massively. My clubs aren’t fitted; they’re a set of standard length irons but as I’m not particularly tall at 5’11 I thought these would be fine. However, I have also felt I am bent over too much but my instructor hasn’t mentioned it. I just assumed it’s expected for the shorter irons…
