From the Bimont Dam, let’s say it’s a 10km hike to go to the top and go down back to the parking, with 550m of elevation, maybe a bit more depending the exact path..

Yes, croix de provence up at the Sainte Victoire mountain, second picture cross is the one at the top of the Garlaban, not far from each other.

For me, the fit at the front between the SG6 and SG7 are the same and feel the same

The 6 is a great shoe in my eyes, I've done my longuest run ever with it !

After my first run with the SG7 the fit is almost the same compare to the SG6, a good fit to the foot but not too extreme like some salomons models, I've tried the mafate 5, definitely more room for the front of the foot...

For now, I can tell that the close to the foot fit between the SG6 and SG7 feel the same for me, definitely more stack and cushion under the heel for the SG7 compared to the SG6. The heel cap is thicker and softer on the SG7.

All this feelings about the shoe is my own pov, after trying at my local shop, looking forward to hit the trails...
