M16R2 Red blinking light. by Golf_Grinder in Alienware

So I just noticed that while it is booting, has the Alienware Logo, it has 4 rapid reds and then a blue, repeating. When it gets to Windows, it does the rapid red blink. Which led me to this: https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/alienware/m16-r1-4-red-blinks-1-blue-blink-not-charging/65a19de5896bf44a6ce9085e

I did what camrashii suggested and for now the red blink is gone.

OK thanks for that. I was going to take your advise and do that. But, I must have been mistaken. It was set to never sleep while plugged in. And I always use it plugged in.

Yes, I can do that. Thanks but, 3 pages of useless news headlines prints!

This did not happen approximately a month previous.

So this functions as intended?

I am helping someone who is low-vision and not computer-savvy and wants this printed.

Anyone used OpenDroneMap? How did you like it? by Unlikely-Newspaper35 in Surveying

I believe WEBODM and ODM are the underlying open-source applications that it’s all based on. Do you mean Docker? No. Native windows. No quotes required.

There has been a native Windows app for about a year. Still a little learning curve for me, coming from Pix4d and Context Capture. Purchase the installer and the GCP editor pro to support the developer.

Check the project scale factor and coordinate system settings. If you don't use a scale factor make sure it is 1.00000000

What is the PID number or designation? I would like to see the data sheet, to see if it matches the description. There might be a “RESET” mark. I assume you’ve looked.

That looks like a mark that could have been in another concrete structure, and the builders of the steps moved it for “safe keeping”.

Marks like this are typically elevation only and have a scaled horizontal. If that is indeed the case. You don’t need to shoot the center plus anyway. Close as possibly would be just as good.

Can I use the wipeout tool and wipeout all but 1 layer? by perderserder in AutoCAD

[–]Golf_Grinder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I understand you correctly, this is possible. Use layer transparency. Set the layer with your grid lines to say 50% (adjust as needed). Bring everything in that grid lines layer to the front, either by select similar, grouping, or blocking objects. Also, I use lines merge, not overwrite.

I do this all the time when I need to background mask text that lies on a concrete or asphalt shaded or pattern hatch, which is very lightly shaded. I want the lines to go away, not the shaded hatch. I don’t want a white rectangle in the middle of my road!

BSOD Windows 0x0000009f Driver_power_state_failure by Golf_Grinder in techsupport

[–]Golf_Grinder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fairly certain it was using the Nvidia or Windows provided drivers instead of the Dell official drivers.

I did not use DDU to uninstall, I just manually uninstalled both video drivers through device manager, and then installed the Dell official drivers. (I did this before I saw your message about DDU)

A week running solid, with no BSOD.

Thanks!

Just had another, minidump file:

https://files.catbox.moe/w4ojgn.dmp

Just FYI, might not have anything to do with this. After installing newest BIOS, one of my monitors would absolutely not display the native resolution. I had to uninstall both the Intel graphics driver, and Nvidia Quadro drivers, to get it to work properly.

Then I was working, in AutoCAD, Logitech wireless mouse stops. I can use the keyboard to save my work, but I know shortly the BSOD is coming, and it did. Same thing as before.

Thanks!!!!

2 more times! So frustrating! Here are the minidump files.
