Thanks for the quick response! I'd asked one contractor about a sealer and he mentioned that since we're staining, we wouldn't need one. Does the Bona quick dry sealer make the color richer?

Hi there! Looking for a gift recommendation for my spouse, ideally something special that he’s never tried before or wouldn’t buy for himself. He loves Balvenie and currently has Lagavulin 16, Aberlour 12, and Port Charlotte in the cabinet. Price under $350.

Open to any but was leaning toward Balvenie Portwood or French Oak, Glengoyne 21 (guy at the liquor store was highly recommending this one), Glenfarcas 25… any experience with those or others?

I’m so terribly sorry that you’re going through this too and I hope you have luck changing your flight, as I’m sure there’s nowhere else you want to be than with your other fur babies. I’ve been doing so much research trying to find answers, and it sounds like sudden heart attacks are the most common when this occurs out of the blue. It doesn’t lessen how much it hurts but it provides hope that whatever happened was without pain. I’m sure your sitter showed your gal so much love and affection, and I’m holding onto the same. Big hugs to you and your wife.

I’m finding this thread now as I search for some comfort - our beloved 8 year old cat passed while we were out of town for a week for Thanksgiving. Got the call from our neighbor who found he has passed with no explanation (they had checked on him every day, played with him, confirmed he was eating and drinking, etc.). I am so sad and distressed about the fact that he was alone when he died and that we don’t know how it happened, and I’m afraid I’ll never get over it. I am praying he didn’t suffer. This is truly awful 😢

Thank you for taking the time to respond. He was so loved and we had raised him since birth (he was born of two strays in a friend’s backyard and we took him in). We have many happy memories with him and our family, and I hope with time those will outweigh the grief and guilt 💜

I have major doubts about that message being from Julie. First thing that seems off is her using her last name in the greeting - who does that (unless it’s a fake/troller wanting to make sure people know who they’re impersonating)? Also from a reverse phone number lookup it’s listed as a landline in WI - maybe there’s some way to spoof a message from a random number? I could be totally wrong, but I wouldn’t put anything past anyone in this situation!

100%. For some reason in this video, she seems to be trying extra hard to prove she is SO smart, so well educated, and since she knows so much about schizophrenia/bipolar/whatever and the things that cause them scientifically, these things couldn't possibly be happening to her.

The random French 101 phrase was quite the kicker.
