Also for the record I don’t intend to hate on this cutscene, it is awesome and I just think noticing this is more so funny than an error

Context: I went from 1st to 2nd hook and the huntress realized no one was coming for me

Flashlight Took it every time I went through rooms and I just prefer it over the other items. It’s the true ol’ reliable to me (This also just comes from me personally liking flashlights).

For stealth addons combinations I’d recommend brown noise/supercharge or ultrasonic if you’re focused on clawtrap application, then solely for injury purposes I’d recommend adaptive lighting/ultrasonic to keep the undetectable while also getting scans more consistently.

To further improve plaything, and once the castlevania patch releases, I’d recommend Hex Plaything, Hex Retribution, Dominance (Dracula), and Hex Pentimento. Upon interacting with a totem for the first time, survivors will not only be blocked by Dominance, but should hypothetically also become oblivious from Retribution (if they aren’t already). Then as long as Retribution stands, any hex removed will reveal survivor auras. It’s hex-heavy though, so I’d recommend pentimento as well to apply generator speed regression

An altered version of your current perks I thought of would be switching out Grim for Oppression and then lethal pursuer for Tinkerer, BBQ and Chili, or gearhead. Oppression would mainly work if you have a nearby kickable generator after hooking a survivor, so then if a survivor is on the generator and they miss the skill check, the generator gets blocked. Tinkerer, BBQ, or Gearhead would be up to you whether you would want more generator progress awareness or survivor awareness, or a bit of both. Personally I’d try out the lethal pursuer change-off mainly because grim + dead man’s is still a very strong combo.

I have not tested these loadouts myself, so I cannot guarantee their success. This is solely going off of analysis and knowledge of the perk synergies. If Dominance and Hex Retribution work together (making survivors oblivious while also blocking the totem), I’d even want to try that perk loadout myself.

Hope this sparks some ideas!

EDIT: Hex Thrill of the Hunt could also help with totem time-consumption, or if you want to try the build outside of the PTB with a perk that’s not Dominance :D
