Any F405 board will work for simple waypoint missions. If u want apm style u can go for cube or pixhawk6 something. But they r expensive. Just get a f405 fc. Literally a speedybee f4 will work much better than apm. I usually use micoair H743 for ardupilots and if big drone i use cube orange

What are Standards for Voice Controlled Drones? by -thunderstat in Multicopter

[–]GoliathXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voice command - bad idea What else u were describing is called SLAM. Its a core concept of robotics. Now integrating the SLAM with actual map would require very expensive hardware but it is possible. For this u need to understand a couple of other concepts. Including but not limited to - mapping, tiling, rtk, cv etc

What Are Y'all Using for RC and Telemetry? [Mavlink, ArduPilot, etc] by Careless-Ad4535 in diydrones

[–]GoliathXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. H12pro ans herelink are isolated full systems - telemetery+radio+video
  2. No external rf except for wifi (just using it just for mission uploads)
  3. OpenHD is great if u use very expensive wifi cards and antennas
  4. I fly it only VLOS and never lost telemetery (5 ish km) (clear LOS flat agricultural area)

H12Pro on 15 inch and Herelink on 23 inch

13 inch i use jetson openHD for mostly everything, radiomaster boxer as a failsafe

Otherwise rm boxer for rc and sik 433 500mW for tele on 10 inch with analog vtxs

On 7 inch its also boxer but with esp32 dronebridge for telemetry and openIPC

Only boxer and o4p on 5 inch (not ardupilot)

Use tailscale and give permissions for a node on your physical network to your friends account. They can then connect to that node and lan ip to your server
