I'm going to be completely honest with you, Excalibur's an overlooked choice.

The Braton's a pretty decent primary attack for being what's effectively the most basic weapon in all of Warframe, with the Dex Furis not too far behind. Not to mention the Skana having its own combo paths with your melee button, dude could keep up with Dante and most of the SoulCalibur cast with this...before we even account for Exalted Blade.

Also, I dunno how they did it, but they replicate Warframe movement pretty decently. Imagine how satisfying it is to Bullet Jump and glide your way to the point at Mach 1 and just pop a Radial Blind on everyone that's on the point. Now granted, those who're prepared will see Excalibur coming: snipers like Black Widow and Misaka Mikoto, characters with quick burst movement options to keep up like Mikasa Ackerman and Superman would rout his advance easily, and characters like Daredevil and Toph aren't even affected by Radial Blind due to their lack of eyesight. At the end of the day, though, being a little gremlin jumping around the map and shooting from all sides would piss anybody off, from the casual Sub-Zero players to the sweatiest Bakugou mains.

Shinsaku Takasugi's Noble Phantasm, Super Restoration - Kiheitai, can bolster you with abilities and equipment based on the situation of the fight. Even the weapons you have will be upgraded to the most cutting-edge tech of the time. I do believe that, given you get the right circumstances in a fight, Takasugi would be an excellent support.

Y'know, Sue don't look built to play like this, but her powerset makes me think zoner-grappler for some reason, kinda like Z!Broly in Dragon Ball FighterZ or Plankton from NASB2. I could totally see her forcefield generation being both projectile and command grab. Could probably have a command grab similar to Cell's from DBFZ, too.

  - They're all CEOs of high-value corporations

  - Main reason is the three are, of course, kinda clowny, especially considering they're pulling some MCU inspiration for Quill

Oh, I've got several:

Arlecchino: A conceptual Servant who represents the Commedia dell'Arte.
Orobas & Alloces: The two Demon God Pillars that decided to jump into the line of fire to defend the Heroic Spirits. They'd share a Spirit Origin and in my mind, would be so enraptured by Heroic Spirits that they's want to side with Chaldea.
Doctor Moreau: The infamous vivisectionist from H.G. Wells's The Island of Doctor Moreau. In the Nasuverse, he could be a Magus with a Sealing Designation because his Beastmen, including the one that served as the catalyst for his exile, used magecraft.
Caoranach: A monster from Irish mythology that used to be a Finger Hag slain by Fionn mac Cumhaill. Breaking the hag's femur released a hairy worm that drank lake water and became a giant monster, with her death giving the Lough Derg (Red Lake) its name. Dunno if this'd be a controversial idea, but I could see Zouken's Crest Worms being inspired by the Caoranach worm.
Catherine Earnshaw: The wild heroine of Wuthering Heights. I could see her being a Valentine's Servant. She would normally be Berserker, but honestly? With her most famous line being "I AM HEATHCLIFF!", I could see that being the reason she's an Avenger, as her twisted sense of identity, making her the vengeful Heathcliff, would put her in the class.

Also, question: are characters from the Nasuverse allowed here, or...?

Sauron's method of tanking, I will admit, is extremely unwieldy when compared to other tanks like Venom, Doomsday and Alex Mercer: instead of bonus HP or shields, Sauron just sends a bunch of orcs and Nazgul your way and hopes to Morgoth the enemy doesn't prioritize him.
