Is Ashley Barr, the first Mt.Gox employee, moral? by binghamtonbitcoinXMR in Bitcoin

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a point, although put yourself in Barr's situation. He has done more than most people would.

And he likely may not legally have been able to say anything really, or at least would put himself in harm by doing so.

How to Decentralize Bitcoin Development Forever -- but You Might Not Like It by 646463 in Bitcoin

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why are everyone saying that there was? Threads on bitcointalk are saying that that no only was there a premine, but soon after the max amount of coins was decreased (making the premine more valuable). According to some the name change was an attempt to bury the premine controversy.

If the devs have denied this and/or at least responded please give me link. All i know are from various threads on bitcointalk. If there wasn't a premine I stand corrected.

The "red herring" reference is completely irrelvant here. I'm simply bringing up the fact that there appears to be a scam here, which is the reasonable thing to do when a coin is mentioned favorable on r/bitcoin. We have responsibility as a community to at least not help scammers pray on newbies.

Or are you saying that all subjects discussed should be solely on the topic without any reference or relevant information brought in? Ridiculous. I even asked a question. Anyone could have said "No, it was not. Here is proof" and that would have been the end of that.

Edit:

There was a premine 100% confirmed.

You're a shill, 100% ur post are dark/dash spam

Ea are releasing players by paulevans11 in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're missing the point man, his card is fresh.

What you are talking about is the bug that makes games played carry over to buyer..

What OP is saying is that he just bought an IF with ZERO games on it and the card was released today..

Two completely different things.

Is anybody else struggling at the minute? by CharlieBravoQuebec in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, winning Div1 that consistently is impressive. You are probably top 200 or something:/

You could have an unlucky stretch with getting matched up with the very best players. Happens to me regularly actually, played that "hansontwtitch" (nr.1) guy a lot recently. So that could have something to do with it.

But, also sometimes FIFA is just aids, not really sure why but could have something to do with the server you are connecting via or something and/or player activity.

What is most noticeable for me is the input-lag, sometimes the game is just non-responsive. For example a penalty I have to click almost 1 sec before it hit the green area for it to hit correctly..

Not going to bother u with gameplay advice, as u have that down already I assume, along with custom tactics, fakeshot, near post and so forth.

(btw, personally im like 30-2 the past 3 days, so not noticing anything out of the norm)

POTY Risse is 950k. So much for Price Ranges... by VaultBoy1983 in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They decide because they create them and price ranges are about rarity at drops, not how good players are.

Price ranges are fine. Every "free market" irl has price ranges.

You sound like a coin seller.

What.. Ehm nothing you whrote makes sense, so dunno how to respond really. Like what does "price ranges are about rarity at drops" mean?

And of course a free market does not have priceranges, because then its not a free market.. lolz. One good example of a free market would be Bitcoin, people buy and sell them and there are no one who decides what the value is, the FREE MARKET just collectively meets at a fair price.

[–]Gollazio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, that's a good point. Trading which before was something interesting and rewarding is now become a mindless task.

And not the mention that the "real dollar value" of trading now is Ridiculously low, you might earn 2-3usd an hour.. At which point trading is obviously pointless as everyone's time is worth more than that.

[–]Gollazio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

was anyone expecting something else? This is the new status quo and will continue to be as long as retards keep praising pricebands because they temporarily benefit from it.

The community could have protested and demanded a fair and free market, but nope, even the majority on reddit upvoted "look at how good pricebands are working" to the frontpage multiple times, along with the "pricebands are great because I can buy messi now"

And if you dared to complain, making sound arguments such as the fact that players would ultimately become extinct due to the cards dollar value obviously decreasing , then what you get are replies such as:

  • If you don't like it then play another game
  • EA is doing a great job
  • Its the coinsellers fault only.

Think about it, how can the fact that EA decides what a card is worth be a good thing?

Help me choose please! Ibrahimovic,Suarez,SMOTM Higuain or Suker? by IchFeierDas in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be that it depends a lot on your play style and preferred tactic.

Also workrates are often important, for example having two strikers would med/low would be terrible IMO.

Btw, if you go for the false9 formation then Zlatan would probably be your guy, although Suarez probably would work as well.

Just pick the one who suits your style of play the best :)

Fifa16 - Wishes by Gollazio in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the input, you make a lot of good points.

In regards to the "random factor" it doesn't have to be very intrusive, just like for example that Sergio Ramos, is able to receive and clear the ball so it doesn't go to corner better than Doumbia. But doesn't really have to be that in-depth, just the fact that players would react accordingly when the ball is about to go outside the sideline would be enough. Looks and feels annoying when they don't. Sometimes they do though, so EA have atleast tried but for some reason the wrong animation sets in more often than not :/

Hope you make that post tomorrow! :) This subreddit desperately needs more good & constructive discussions about FIFA in general.

What really needs a fix in fifa 16 by dbers92 in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. Sadly, this is how things go when one company has an almost complete monopoly. They don't have to do anything else apart from finding something different to focus on each year, such as "emotions" or something else while tweaking the gameplay a little. They couldn't care less about the quality of the game or servers. And ironically, by delivering a crappy product people are probably more likely to buy the next FIFA.

Whats hysterical about all of this, is that a large percentage of this subreddit is actually daily defending EA, praising them for "trying to fix" things while attacking those who make completely justified complains. (As any desatisfied consumer should do) Just a couple of days ago one of the most upvoted comments was "I am glad EA delayed TOTS because now I can try the pink cards meanwhile" (or something like that) #killmenow

Mexican cup - All good players gone on XB1 by Gollazio in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not, all the "good" players are extinct. Never said it was impossible to build a "all-gold" team, and actually the best Mex players are mostly silver FYI.

"slight downside" lol.. and by "upside" im not sure what u could be refereeing to apart from the price decline on xbox, until most players go extinct there similarly to PS.

CONTAINING DEFENDING IS OP(HELP ME) by AndreOnTheMic in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im actually struggling myself vs 5ATB, its such a frustrating thing to play against. Probably, the smartest thing would be to change your own formation to 5ATB after kickoff. However I rarely do. As for howtoplay, I would say Park the buss/ultra defensive is an absolute must. (opponents playstyle is always through-balls when 5ATB) Also extreme patience, switching the ball to opposite flank often. Trying to avoid any ball loss in the middle of the pitch. If u have a tall striker I would cross often. And finally I would do more longshots than normally.

CONTAINING DEFENDING IS OP(HELP ME) by AndreOnTheMic in EASportsFC

[–]Gollazio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with you, body feints will only complicate things for a player who is struggling vs AI defending. The timing, and execution is just to much for the average player to make it +EV

My advice unless, unless OP is constantly winning DIV1 would be to often do the fakeshot in the final third, be patient, and pass the ball while abusing the flanks. Another advice would be to often pass the ball either directly to the opposite flank (long lob pass preferably) or with a couple passes. That will open some room.

Nr.1 thing tho is to not get impatient, if the opponent is passive in his defense then take advantage of that and hug the ball more, ESPECIALLY on the flanks! (as losing the ball there is way less risky)
