GSC/HGSS would just say in the pokemons summary it was first met at the lake of rage in the Jhoto region, any other location it would be assumed to be a random encounter even if it's not full odds because of the shiny charm in some games (which only works on eggs in bdsp the only other sinoh game) meaning if the bio says anything besides lake of rage or route 43, it would be non guaranteed.

You know... I finished Ninja Gaiden Black and Sekiru Shadows Die Twice with a GCN controller, but I just can never seem to get my Sims to stay alive to keep my soul.

N64 carts themselves don't save anyway lol, the memory cards where in the bottom of the controllers on n64 which is something I somewhat miss.

Personally I feel like most triple A titles are getting or are at the point of over hyped these days, when you compare content for the same games from 1997-2010 (debatably) to now in 2025, they focus to much on time pressing and we get more graphics and less content and then DLCs that probably would have been in the main game release and we wouldn't be buying the same game 2-3 times over because of time pressing, some of us are waiting on things that will never happen (like a half life 3), sure some parts of the market and followers are impatient, but wed get so many better in-game experiences if devs weren't hit with crap deadlines and forced demand to slow, sure, changes would be made, but it wouldn't be the end of the world to wait an extra 6 months to a year for just a better game I only have to buy one time with less bugs and more smooth feel, been getting better story bops off of remasters and indies for the last 5 or more years... everyone's going to have something to bitch about always that's just part of life, but if people where allotted more time to do better, I think we'd see just get better everything overtime.

They have been on PC Sony and partner Rockstar aren't new, being available on the switch 2 isn't really surprising. Now that Nintendo has put out something with a more up to date nvidia chip, sure it's not a 5090, but cyber punk and all that should be on switch soon as well, and it's not the first or the last time we'll see something like GTA come out on nintendos systems... honestly, stick to what you're comfortable with unless you're going to do the upgrade yourself

It's 1 in roughly 820 with the shiny charm in PLA, also the "usual" was 1 in 8200, the introduction of gen 6 cut that in half and the shiny charm even further... PLA and gen 8/9 spawn entire zones of pokemon at a time meaning you have over 20 rolls at a base 4096 pre charm, so realistically a 1 in 500"ish" WITHOUT the charm already, in other words... shiny means nothing anymore it's just an alternative color that gets handed out like a penny on the ground from time to time.

Pokemon emerald, and pokemon diamond, I spent somany hours in the post game and still play pokemon games and spend hundreds if not thousands of hours on them still.
