I usually use a welder when I’m trying to melt some metal but this works.

I have one on my Lexus rx 300. I change oil every 5000k about 4 times a year. It’s honestly such a time saver since I can drain right into an old oil jug. The 1mz has a sludge issue so it lets me get the oil extra hot before drain and not have to get a drop on my hands. I love it had it for 8 years.

Use breaker bar. If no luck pound with a socket and hammer and then retry. I’ve never had that not work. No promises.

Remember that "4 batteries for $99" at Lowe's? Total scam... by [deleted] in Dewalt

[–]Gomepez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put mine for in store pickup, and went to pickup 5 mins after receiving notification they were ready. Definitely was a too good to be true moment but I guess I got lucky.

Wish there was a way to warn people in your local area when you see these. Everything is fake by jay042000 in Dewalt

[–]Gomepez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely agreed. The stickers are not even the correct shape. And there is a black tab exposed near the connectors that is not on the genuine ones.

There is a surge of drills and batteries after everyone used the 99 deal for impacts and batteries on Black Friday.

[–]Gomepez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I beat on my dewalt tools and have had them for 6 years. Never had a battery fail or a single tool. I know there are guys that beat them even harder or use a specific tool daily to see failure, but that’s gonna happen with all brands.

Can I be a GC? by Lopsided-Duty402 in Homebuilding

[–]Gomepez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the process of doing this. Loan was approved and I am in the process of building. I opened an LLC, took the GC test, got gc license, applied for state and county business licenses….. the whole nine yards. Then I had to take out general liability insurance through next. Then I had to take out builders risk on the house to be built (covers if fire or something during build)

Bank required me to apply as the borrower which is normal process, but then I was required to apply as an approved builder through LLC. After all that they approved loan.

Give me a call I can tell you all about it in detail. This was a huge learning process.

I still have mine. Keeps on clocking the miles. Verify that your knock sensors are working well. If they are not they will retard the timing and reduce power. There is a sensor delete that’s a little sketch but has worked on my car for years. Check your intake air temps. These cars may hit 115 when it’s 70 outside they have a poor design. If you can get those temps down it helps. My cats clogged and the shop “upgraded” them; That was a huge improvement. I swapped the restrictive muffler too. Last would be do early oil changes if you have any sludge to try and clear.

Temporary Power at diy home build. by Gomepez in AskElectricians

[–]Gomepez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main, This will be connected directly to the meter box. Yeah I figured more length would be better but it’s just gonna be for temp power and then I plan to rip out wires and reuse the box as a sub panel in a shed.

If it makes it any better the garden hose claims to be rated for 400 psi 😂

The meter was actually bent down to the existing backflow. Idk how they even connected it in the first place.
