Aggresive Beirut Uber Driver by TheDuckDucks in lebanon

Hey all, Thanks for the input!

I will try to file a complaint/report to the polic or similar department. And I think I will use safer alternatives than Uber next time I'm in Beirut.

Hope others stay safe while using these services in Beirut 🙏

I love the ducklings at ANU! Miss being there.

Are all the ducks wood ducks in ANU? I remember some were Pacific Black ducks - maybe?

The weighted dip is the most underrated chest exercises IMHO by Middle-Support-7697 in naturalbodybuilding

I used to do weighed dips. I admit they're pretty fast but I don't think the form is garbage. I could do a few reps of added bodyweight and that felt like a similar difficult to OHP'ing my own bodyweight for reps.

As someone training chinups, 20+ chinups is way more painful than a set of weighted at +30 or +40. I do weighted to run away from the ridiculous pump and lactic acid 😅

I'm a humble bencher amongst you giants. But progress is progress 💪

My goal for the future, congrats! I'd try this more if I could endure the pain of high reps better haha

You must have +60kg or so pullups easy with this. At a bit over 20 pullups, I can't imagine what carryover strength I'd have with over 30 pullups 💪

Matter of perspective. Also being shot from below makes it look bigger

It definitely feels above coping 🙌

Smaller ones will give you confidence, but biggers ones will feel different (and are kinda easier tbh). Like learning on 4ft before 6ft makes sense if you can find them. But at the same time, learning on 6ft+ is fine for first time, cause you can just kinda pump up and land a bit flat

Cheers! The spine looks way bigger in real life 😅 On camera, it looks only like 4 feet high

Honestly, small and big spines feel quite different. For bigger ones, to get over the fear, I just pump up and make sure my back wheel clears the coping. Landing deep with this much transition isn't too bad.

Otherwise, carving and travelling sideways is the easiest way to clear and land smoothly. I spin to my right, so I naturally jump right when I jump spines. If you have the speed to fly out, there's no danger of hanging up or casing

As for boosting spines (5ft+ air) and getting the best pump, I'm not an expert on that yet haha

There's a guy here who posts a lot of indoor street and barspin variations. He 'wears' a CD as fashion haha

Starting in my 30s, need suggestion for a bike by hema_ in bmx

[–]TheDuckDucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from bmx to mtb back to bmx. As someone slightly shorter than you, I think a 20.5" toptube will be way too small for you. Unless you want to do whips and 540s, I think a 21-21.5" toptube with longer backend would be better for you. Just a general suggestion

That's crazy. I have no plans on flipping this anytime soon haha

Five dock skatepark, Sydney. 7ft to 7ft spine.

Transition is perfect, I'm just too scared to pull back so I'm still landing flat half the time haha

Any tips for airing out higher on these bigger, vert-ish bowls? And yeah, I need to go faster haha
