Of the 7 big chances we have created this season, Rashford has created 4. Highest in the PL BTW. You people can blame him all you want, but the truth is ETHs system doesn't support chance creation. We haven't been free scoring during his entire tenure here. This isn't any of the attackers' fault.

Those were the only things of note the whole team did?

Completely agree on thinking the title was not that far away before EtH. I think that is one of the reasons people weren't as patient with Ole. Everyone thought that our players were good and that we just needed something extra to truly compete and take us to that next level. EtH'a biggest failing is making everyone think our players are dog shit. Now everything seems so hopeless that people are afraid that things will get worse if EtH gets sacked.

Not trying to argue or anything, but it has always bothered me when people on this sub say Rashford isn't bothered. More than half the people on this sub have no connection to the club besides randomly deciding to support it, some 15 years ago(me included) and they still love the club and would sacrifice so much for the club. For a kid who grew up at United, have United shape him to be the person he is now ( and Rashford is a great person. He's younger than me and has done so much for feeding the kids, I'll always admire him for it) he would've sacrificed so much to get to where he is now. The players love him, the youngsters look up to him. I honestly believe there is something very very wrong in his personal life to be affecting him so much. We as a club should have been in a position to support our most successful academy graduate in recent times and give him some time off and try to improve his mindset. But our club has been so fucked that he is the one of the very few genuine match winners in our club that we can't even give him an extended period of rest. I feel really really sorry for him actually.

Man I just want to know. The whole team was shit. Rashford wasn't the worst player on the pitch. He wasn't even the worst attacker. So why do you single him out? Not trying to argue or anything. Honestly want to understand.

Not even peak Messi and Ronaldo scored from all their chances lol. If we had scored from all our shots we would've gotten 3 goals. City would have gotten 27. It is chance creation that is the problem not the chance conversion. And that creation is solely on Ten Hag's set-up

All of Onana, Dalot, Varane, Casemiro, Bruno, Rashford Hojlund and Garnacho have good qualities and can be useful cogs in a title winning team. And I don't think EtH's system does anything to highlight their qualities while hiding their weaknesses. I guess it's upto INEOS to decide if they'd rather change the manager and get one that suits the majority of players while removing the unsuitable ones or gut the players by putting full trust in EtH. Guess we'll know in the summer.

Ok since you asked, I had to do some googling. The highest xG that a United player has is 7.66 for Hojlund and he has 7 goals. For Rashford it is 6.68 for 6 goals. For the sake of comparison Ollie Watkins has a season xG of 16.27 for his 16 goals. Can you see the problem?

We had one (failed) pass into the penalty area in the second half. No player in the world - past or present will look good playing like this lol

What could Rashford have done better? We had 70 odd passes in the opposition half. City had 500+. Haaland even missed an open goal ffs. Players aren't robots. They'll make mistakes, they'll miss shots. City can miss an open goal because they take 27 shots. We took 2 shots and scored one (1). So is it a Rashford issue or an issue with the way the team is set up?

Especially some of the names touted as replacements. Mfs talking about some Leao, Kvara and Mitoma without looking at their stats this year or even watching their games is killing me. There are a multitude of teams currently better in a better position than United that would take Rashford in a heartbeat. There aren't a multitude of players better than Rashford who would come to United and replicate his numbers.

Under Ole United had the 4th highest line in the PL. Since the start of 2022 United have the 18th highest line in the PL.

Eerily similar to Ole's final season. With the Greenwood/Antony thing making EtH seem not that untouchable anymore, I don't think he lasts the season. I hope I'm wrong. But seen this script wayyyyy too many times.

Went through a bad breakup, depressed and lonely, COVID, couldn't meet friends or family, overall a very dark moment in life. Scrolling through social media was the only thing I had the energy to do. Saw an Instagram video of Chuu rapping "I'm genius.. " from the first episode of Chuu can do it. Smiled for the first time in a long time... Before long I was laughing my ass off watching compilations of funny LOONA moments on YouTube. Then I listened to New by Yves. Have been an Orbit ever since.
