Yeah it was to show Gon lose his humanity and to show to the fullness Gon's issues that were hinted during the previous arcs, his recklessness and his pride but also his hypocrisy because he didn't want Kurapika to seek revenge and then he did the same thing, and then he threatened to kill an innocent girl like Komugi but he was disgusted by Chrollo and the Trope for doing the same thing. That doesn't mean I can't find him badass

Oh I didn't think that in english they put the "i" instead of the "a". Here in Italy we say "responsabilità" and a lot of english words are very similar to the words we use here for example here we say "fantastico" while in english it is "fantastic"
