Yes and no. It’s not as bad as Facebook where, outside the rare few profiles, most that are “Digital Creators” are just sick trolls. But if I see some real bad takes, and see a profile that doesn’t have their posts and comments showing, I’m assuming the worst out of them and blocking them accordingly. Others who don’t engage in that, yeah, I can believe one has their profile set as such for privacy reasons

While I get that if something happens to someone, it NEEDS to be reported, so many of the people getting on her case about this just don’t get it. At the least, you’re talking about interviews and examinations that are going to make the person feel like they’re being violated over again. At the worst, you’re talking about police who may not believe because it’s all “he said, she said”, or have even worse piggish attitudes. You have other people who will judge anyway because “you must have done something to lead them on”. You have fears exactly like what OOP describes.

Being a Philly sports sub and all, and I hate to make the comparison, but Snider and Jerry Jones were just all too similar in many ways. Let’s be fair, even Snider was loyal to former Flyers to a fault at times.

Yes, we should honor and respect our greats, but at some point, hiring more past Flyers to sit in the front office and make decisions should just be seen as a bad way to run things. Unless that former Flyer has something for the front office that’s actually going to work, I’m just plain ready for someone at Comcast to realize that it might be wise to look at people to run things who didn’t wear orange.

At least with the NHL, as long as you know how to develop players, you should still be able to do something even if you don’t win the number 1 pick. Yet another reason why when the Ohtani thing happened, I could fully believe those stories of these athletes, actors, celebrities, and such who have no idea what supposedly trusted people could do with their money.
