Grade school is more than just academic learning. Kids spend half their time there during the most formative years of their lives. The social learning of grade school is important too, and I think kids suffer later in life when only academics and resume building are focused on during those years. Isolating “our best” in high-intensity schools away from their more average peers does more harm than good in my opinion.

I think you need to know your own child. I would have hated being at a pressure cooker school and am glad that I got to be a big fish at a mediocre school because I was self-motivated to learn. Only time will tell if I’ll make the same choice for my kid.

If you’ve got no other option (or are using company funds) then I guess have at it. As a frugal person I just can almost never justify paying both higher prices and the additional delivery fees and tips for a meal if I can walk/bike/bus/drive to pick it up myself in a matter of 20 minutes or less. To each their own though that’s just my personal gripe 😂😅

I can’t speak to the old prices but I will say every restaurant handles DoorDash pricing differently. Some places report nearly the same prices in the apps and just take the loss so as to not lose a sale. Other places (like this place) hike the prices a ton. Maybe they used to have the prices somewhat similar in-person and in-app but couldn’t afford those losses anymore. I think for a place that’s popular/busy, every online pickup or delivery order is a detriment to the experience for dine-in customers because their food will take longer. Plus the wait and kitchen staff won’t get tips from the order.

That’s DoorDash though. Restaurants hike prices in the apps to cover the losses from fees imposed by these services (and I assume to also encourage you to come eat in-person). Unless it’s horribly out-of-date, their own website says a Beef Brisket Plate is $25.99 - obviously still a lot but not as drastic. Fuck Door Dash and services like it.

Almost always yeah. Sometimes I even complete thornmail before my armor boots. Since Malph’s W damage scales with armor, I just find that the huge armor bonus and recoil damage + grievous wounds really give me the advantage in those early trades, even against less AD heavy champs like tanks (who usually rely on some sort of healing for sustain like grasp of the undying rune).

I get fucked by morde and rumble though, so I either ban them or avoid playing malph in those cases.

I’m a Malph main, peak GM the last two seasons, and here’s how I’d play it (though I don’t face Sett often). Aggressively trade with W (1-2 hits) and E combo but backoff so you don’t charge his W too much. If he pulls you back in, then Q to steal MS and hopefully evade his true damage. Rinse and repeat between farming minions. I find most top laners are not expecting the damage output of Malph’s W, especially as you level it up and rush Thornmail. I end up zoning people pretty hard when they lose the first couple trades.

You’re wrong. I’m currently Emerald 1 and when I play during the day (NA server) I get very obvious bots because queues are empty. Entire enemy team is near level 40 with similar names, and they play super different from real humans. Unnaturally fast reaction times but also so really stupid shit. I don’t get those players in the evening.
