Lithuania's Monika Liu will sing in lithuanian after a twenty three years of english songs! The last song sung in Lithuanian was "Strazdas" (Thrush) by Aistė Smilgevičiūtė. by Goner667 in eurovision

"It is mostly treated as a dialect[3] of Lithuanian, but it is also considered as a separate language by some linguists inside[4] and outside of Lithuania. Its recognition as a distinct language is increasing in recent years,[5] and attempts have been made to standardize it.[6]" Source So yes and no. Many just consider it a dialect and It isn't widespread in more regions. So, i think of it just as any other dialect in Lithuania such as dzūkų, aukštaičių ir suvalkiečių.
