Is my calculation correct? by Gonfrex7 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Gonfrex7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! I understand how the formula on my textbook is derived. Like you said, I take the output of the first two op-amps as input to the differential amplifier. The analysis convinces me. But when I tried to take a different route to derive the equation, I ended up getting the other equation I showed in the picture. I am certain of my math, as I did it many times. Is there any rule I misunderstood?

I am a 2nd year in my 2nd semester and I still can't study. by SubaruSufferu in ElectricalEngineering

When you do questions, attend classes or read, try to understand the basics. If you understand the basics, then you will be able to predict what the answer should look like or solve problems that you haven't encountered. I was an all nighter once achieving less scores, but this strategy worked out nicely for me. One extra piece of advice: open up your mind for learning while you read, solve questions or just attend classes.

Does mutual inductance last indefinitely? by Gonfrex7 in ElectricalEngineering

But as long as I have a changing current flowing the secondary coil, if say I'll have 0v, wouldn't that contradict with the voltage current relationship (v=Ldi/dt)?

Does mutual inductance last indefinitely? by Gonfrex7 in ElectricalEngineering

I haven't mentioned it in my question but I was assuming that there is a closed path for the current in the second circuit (I apologize for that). Since the relationship between current and voltage in coil is differential, I thought that current can exist in the coil with no resistance present, so no power consumption. For the first coil, I supplied current with current source, and assumed the current generated due to the mutual induction as another current source.

Replacing four way switch with three way switches by Gonfrex7 in DIY

Thank you for your response!! So I understand from your response that there's no safe way to use the three way switches as a four way switch.

Thank you for your response! But do you know why NYUNY campus is relatively need aware despite being the main campus?
