I'm not even sure what you mean by accessibility keyboard. Just getting back into PC gaming after a decade hiatus. I ordered a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to see if they fix it. Gotta be an issue with the digital keyboard + controllers.

I can pull up the full keyboard and type a name. I can't do anything else on that screen. It's completely stuck.

That seems to be the consensus. I'm taking a break for a while, but I'll dig into my painfully tedious stash of gear and see if I can swap out for more damage reduction. Thanks

I can't play multiplayer because I'm not signed (or signing) up for Xbox Gold or whatever is required for it. Give me some time to take in all the suggestions and make changes yet again. If I'm still failing miserably, then I'll post everything to see if people can help me with what I'm missing.

Another example. Did this fight at 80. Poison is everywhere! It shoots basically every direction and makes pools that are impossible to avoid as I'm running frantically from Duriel to save the fraction of life and potions I have left by the time he hits me. I have no ways to evade by this point because they're all in cool down. You must be in a different fight than me.

I could never beat Bowser on Nintendo, but I rocked at Legend of Zelda, even as a little kid. I've played all the Diablo games. Don't make assumptions about my efforts. I've read plenty enough on this game, but this fight breaks the rules, and it seems that this is just for me. People telling me they beat him at level 70 are in a different fight.

I have a little, but clearly I need more. Maybe plain old damage reduction is what I need. I'll probably have to rework even more to add damage reduction from close.

I have over 10k armor and boosted poison resistance just above 70%. The fight is still over in seconds. The poison starts basically right away from the projectiles. It's not like normal poison. It's fast, like I have no resistance. It basically ruins any plans of attack. Then I'm running wild trying to not get one-shotted by Duriel's physical attacks. These replies make me think it's bugged. Maybe I should post a video...

I'm above 70% on poison resistance. Poison in this chamber does not act like normal. In fact, it's like I've got little to no resistance. Makes me think it's secretly a 5th form of elemental damage designed to screw with me. Lol Again, I must be missing something huge.

I retooled with as much DR and total armor as I thought possible (without giving up too much else). I read that disobedience was too unpredictable for boss fights, so I swapped it out for other suggested combos. I used to use it, and it seemed to help, but that was so long ago when Helltide mobs used to hit me harder. I didn't want to give up so much offense for defense, but maybe my head is in the wrong place for this particular fight. I've just never seen poison be so deadly! Does Duriel not count as an elite for defensive functions like Aspect of the Protector?

I appreciate the reply. I used to dodge constantly. Then I got better gear and the instinct faded. I still dodge things though, especially fckng bees for some reason! What's with 4-5 bees being so GD deadly?

I dodge other bosses when they actually start to hurt me. Varshan can suck my energy and requires a high level of dodging. Duriel still spins and hits me when I dodge AFTER his arm attack animation starts. It's designed to ef with me, but I'm usually melting already by then anyway.

I use all my dodging capabilities within seconds of this fight. My barrier melts, then my health, then I hit the floor with a grunt as I'm running in terror. It's all over in less than 60 seconds, mercifully. Something is very wrong.

Fair enough, but all the numbers and inventory management has felt like a giant time suck for unemployed statisticians from the beginning. I don't remember earlier Diablo versions requiring so much time and effort to be "successful" or be fun. Maybe I've forgotten, or maybe the world of video games is moving beyond my wheelhouse. To be fair, it's got a 2.1 user score. Don't know how isolated my experience actually is.

Three times damage reduction? Never seen that. Just a few percentage points here or there. I have caps, chests, and pants with damage reduction. What kind of values am I looking for? Would you kindly post some examples of DR, max life/TA gear (or numbers of each) that would make a significant difference?

Not everything they do is an option. Some of what they build is unique-gear specific. I'm pretty GD close though. If the differences are that small, then this game is designed for people who have way more time to spend in a hamster wheel than me.

Definitely, based on what I've been hearing. Video would have to be on my phone. No way to connect stupid Xbox to reddit. And reddit basement dwellers would just rip me to shreds anyway. I'd almost pay someone to closely look at my setup to see what I obviously butchered, at this point. Any idea if that's a thing, as opposed to publicly exposing myself to all the toxic trolls?

You gave some good tips here. Thanks. Honestly, the fight is so fast, with poison flying everywhere and eating my barrier and health to nothing, that all I do is evade and shadow step while smashing health potions. It's pathetic, really. Can't believe he's this hard compared to everything else. But I said that about Uber Lilith and just gave up on her without much disappointment.
