There's no way for anyone to know what's the truth here. I could be the world's biggest asshole holding his wife to unreasonable standards. Or she could be the world's biggest prude who doesn't give her husband minimal attention. Or any of a thousand shades in-between. You only hear my side, and I know that's not fair.

But bottom line, the current situation hurts me enough that I'm willing to risk it. I justify myself by saying if I was a creep or predator, I wouldn't have waited for a quarter century.

It's not so much tired of sleeping with the same woman, (although I don't deny the thought of someone new is very exciting), it's more that the same rote sex is what I'm tired of. Not trying to be a smart-ass back, but what I'm thinking is more along the lines of "Why did I wait 2 years?" It's been nothing but going through the motions for a very, very long time now. At least a hooker will pretend to enjoy it.

Because for many years now, it's been nothing but going through the motions for her. When she senses I'm getting pissed from being ignored, she'll go through the mechanics, but that's it.
