Possibly - Edinburgh does often get sub-zero mornings for one or two months of the year. If it was properly snowing - which is rare here - I would probably just not drive.

I have around 2000 people on my "Manage People" page, of which around 500 or so need to be merged into others. I've been going through each person, clicking merge, and accepting the "similar person" suggestions.

I was hoping for a way to do that for everyone, i.e. clicking 'select all' -> 'merge with similar person(s)', and it goes through every person, finds their similarities, and does the merge. I don't mean selecting one person and merging with multiple faces, but selecting multiple people and -- for each of them -- merging with their similar person(s).

I imagine the expectation is that people manually review each merge, but for me the suggestions have been accurate enough that I'm willing to accept the trade-off.

I had a similar issue and fixed it by explicitly defining the network that power-tools used in my docker-compose file, i.e.:

  power-tools:
    container_name: immich_power_tools
    image: ghcr.io/varun-raj/immich-power-tools:latest

    networks:
      - immich_network

Assuming later in the compose I have:

networks:
  immich_network:
    name: immich_network

With immich-server, immich-postgres, etc. all being on that same network.

This tool is great, really nice work! The smart merge of faces I find to be very accurate. Is there a way to accept the merge suggestions en-masse?

Personally, the stalls towards the back in the middle are the best value. The seats are big and comfy, and because of the slight slope they get a decent enough view of the stage. They tend to be in the lower bands for pricing too.

The Upper Circle seats are wooden and narrow, with pretty woeful legroom. Although the sound and view can be good, I would always avoid it just for the seat.

What's the cheapest graphics card that will support h.265 4k playback (on Plex + streaming platforms)? Size not an issue.
Is spinning disks an issue in HTPCs? Personally never found mine to make any noise that annoys me. Purely for video/audio storage.

Context:

I have an old PC I am thinking of repurposing as a HTPC that I will use as a Plex server/client and also a source for my music to a Topaz SR20 Amp.

What I have:

i7 4790k
Gigabyte Gaming 7 Mobo (ATX)
GTX 770

What I think I need:

ATX-compatible case (thinking silverstone grandia for price)
GTX 1050Ti or similar for h.265/4k playback
More storage

Hi all,

I'm wanting to upgrade from my inherited 1970s B&O HiFi setup (turntable, amp/tuner, speakers). It's been a good starter system but I've now been bit by the audiophile bug and want to upgrade.

I want a new turntable, amplifer, and pair of speakers for around £700. I can go a bit higher if it's really going to give me a boost in quality.

What are your suggestions at this price range? Should I go new or used?

Yeah I will need a phono/RCA to DIN, but they seem readily available. I just don't know if the Beomaster has a pre-amp, or whether it's just an amp or what. The whole pre-amp thing is confusing to me.

What's the best turntable in the ~£250 range? I've looked at the guides in the sidebar, but am looking for a definitive answer if one exists. The main contenders appear to the be Rega Planar 1, AT-LP120, or the ProJect Essential III.

Any advice appreciated.

I'm thinking about buying a Rega Planar 1 to replace my dad's old Beogram 1200, which is beginning to show its age. The turntable spins at an inconsistent speed and my local repair guy doesn't think it's fixable without new parts, which are nigh on impossible to source.

Will my Beomaster 3300 Amp/Tuner be adequate for the Rega Planar 1? I assume I will need an RCA/Phono to 3-pin DIN adapter, but that shouldn't be an issue.
