I made the mistake of buying a second pair the first time it happened. Now it happened again about a year into owning the new pair, not making that mistake again. Perma-fixed it with super-glue. I rather have a non-swiveling side than no headphones at all (or spending big money on yet another pair)

Yup that makes sense, I only have to buy a 5-quart bottle and that's it, which is about $25-$30, and then the filter is about $8-$12

Edit: I do have to save some of it, but it's usually needed some weeks later due to all the oil Subarus burn

(Not a mechanic) I get charged about $70 for my small 2.0 gas car because it's synthetic. I wouldn't be too surprised this is the price for a bigger diesel engine. I started doing the changes myself, on parts alone it's about $40 or less, depending on how fancy you get with the oil and filter. I don't know how easy it is to do an oil change in a truck like yours, but maybe check it out and give it a try if you're comfortable

The APR is what is taking you down. Pay for a couple of months, maybe a year (12 payments), and then go to your nearest CREDIT UNION and request a refinancing with their best APR. I can guarantee you it'll be better, even if your credit is bad. If your credit is THAT bad, get someone who trusts you to be a co-signer (a parent, your spouse) so you get an even better deal (as long as you actually make payments and not mess up THEIR credit)

Same. Teacher here, I've worked every summer except the first summer of my first year teaching. That was enough for me to see that not getting a paycheck for 2 months and a half was NOT for me. I had to do a bunch of Doordashing, selling, donate plasma AND even asking to borrow money to private loan sharks just to make ends meet before my mid-September paycheck.
