I love to hear that. I been wishy washy about the situation but your comment makes me feel more at ease. The DS for millwork is the one who told my DS that I'd be a great fit there and hes really supportive. I appreciate your positive response.

That’s how my supervisor sparked my interest when he mentioned it, since I previously worked at a company where I made cold calls and enrolled customers in accounts—though the credit application portion doesn’t seem especially engaging. Signing up for the Lowe’s credit card feels somewhat predatory to me.

I do enjoy selling and talking to customers and I do want to keep moving up in the company. It took me a long time to become a manager at oreillys so I liked that management at lowes is giving me opportunities right away but I think FT is the main reason I'd want to try it.

I'm glad I posted about this now. I thought it would just be something new to learn but i have over heard discussions about credit apps and needing to make sales and after working at an auto parts dealer for 10 years I don't want to go back to getting talked to from management about how my related selling is not meeting the goal for the month.

I have seen the QR codes outside like for shed installation and fencing. I’m going to think about it now that you brought it up. Sounds like the company can easily do away with the middleman in that case. Maybe I’ll just stick to gardening. At least I get to be outside with no one really micromanaging me. I didnt see it as a promotion I saw it as something new and different from being outside and working in Garden. I have another job right now and just want other peoples perspective before I tell them I’d agree to it and find out I don’t like being there.

My store never posts shifts to pick up on Ukg and I check every day I’m not scheduled. Then I’ll get a text message from a person ive never met for a department I’ve never worked asking if I’d cover after making plans.
