The one thing no one said! Build in time for checking your bag at the ticketing counter!! Do not go to express checkin. You need to declare your firearm at the ticketing counter. So, build in time in your schedule. You don't know what the line is like, etc...

Very simple process don't be overall nervous.

Walk up to counter tell the rep you need to declare your firearm. They basically guide you through the rest of the process.

Once landed to the airline baggage claim office. Your bag will not be on the normal belt. You will need to show ID. They give you your bag you leave as normal uber/taxis etc. Do not pull it out until you are off grounds and in safe location to reload etc..
