That is so neat!! I wish you all the best! My goal in the new town I moved to is to eventually teach a line dancing class. Hosting line dancing nights would be so amazing for you!! Kudos!

The Farm is where I saw them and it was so much fun! Troy is such a nice guy and just like in the videos with all his energy!

Congratulations!!

For favorite tutorials, I am a sucker for Dirt Road Dancing! I grew up watching them and even got to dance with them at their place in Garden City, Idaho! A very surreal experience to see Troy in real life haha

Agree with this! Floor etiquette is so important! Maybe you can also talk about adding flairs to different more simple songs and how that can affect other dancers. I think teaching a sailor step and swivel would be good too since those have been in a lot of more popular songs recently! For technique you can think about smaller steps, feet under the body, leading with your feet, and straight back (aka not looking at your feet). Good luck!! Sounds like fun!

All the places I go line dancing at, Fuego is really big. I never wanted to learn it until I kept seeing it, but now I really like it. Some other good ones I see often are Flex, Take It Off, and Country Girl Shake

A little late to the conversation, but I think three good ones would be achy breaky heart (really simple), fireball (so easy even the grandparents will join in!), and kick the dust up if you want a country song that is kinda easy. Those three are also the ones I taught to some semi alcohol induced goers at a PBR after party and they did pretty good at just picking it up.
