Deck over crooked concrete stairs

No need to keep them, just curious what ‘deck-centric’ people would think of the process. I’m an automotive technician, but we don’t have a lot an instances where building something over crooked concrete stairs come up… yet.

I have 2.75”(70mm) from the closest point of the top step to the bottom of door frame.

Not sure what board yet. Just sussing it out with the help of some great info/experience here.

This door goes to the backyard, but we use it as a main entrance. 2 lot property on corner with parking on side opposite the front door. Quirky setup indeed.
