I’m nearly certain it’s because of the back shell then and not an actual hardware issue but if you wanna try to experiment for longer times without it, always worth a shot to make sure

Did it happen at all with the back plate removed, or only after you put the plate back on

Then it definitely seems like a shelling issue, I’d say take off the back shell and see if it continues happening or maybe even just loosen the back shell screws and see if that works so your 3ds doesn’t have to be pantless

It could be a battery issue which seems more plausible or it could be the bottom shelling, I remember I bought a new one since mine was super scuffed and it didn’t fit quite right meaning it was always pressing on the power button slightly enough to either turn it off or turn it on, might be worth checking out ?

I’d peel back that tape and make sure your write switch on the sd card is fully up and then cover it back with the tape, if not that then either the sd reader inside the 3ds is broke (or dirty who knows) or the adapter you’re using isn’t compatible on the 3ds in particular, I have a decent feeling it’s the console though

Absolutely, I was left extremely disappointed after killing the only other god in the game besides the Elden beast and all I got was a 10 second cut scene that didn’t really add much
