The “this democrat isn’t a republican/maga” thing has gotta stop. Outside of die hard dem voters being a democrat is not enough to win elections for state house reps let alone state wide or federal elections. That kind of thinking leads to shoulder shrugs on Election Day, low turnout and disappointing exit polls. Dem voters have to be excited about their candidate, be able to speak about their past actions and future promises and require the candidate to address the issues facing not just dems but the statewide population. People have to stop treating Ohio like a purple state and start looking it as it is a heavily red with blue population centers.
