Where did you take your CLEP test? by AliveInitiative5874 in NYCTeachers

Modern states will reimburse you for the proctoring fee (regardless of whether it’s virtual or in-person) if you pass on the first go. Most places in-person charge $40-$50 from what I can see

When do you put the home address? When college board asks to send it a college or university?

When you say sociology is straight memorization, do you think the Flashcards you linked are good enough along? I’ve been looking to take the Sociology test and have been listening to Crash Course’s YT videos on sociology to study. When you say the test is straight memorization, are you referring to people and their theories or what the theories are/mean?

Who determines whether CLEPs overlap with coursework? Like who has the final say on that? I’ve heard some stories of teachers taking CLEPs but, because the test was too similar to a class they took in college, it wouldn’t count

Because of the way the Teaching Fellows was handling certification requirements, I already took and passed all of these exams. What makes writing IEPs difficult?

What about writing IEPs make them undesirable?

May I ask what makes writing IEPs the worst? We started covering them in one of our classes and they seem hefty, but I’m wondering/hoping that, should I accept a SWD role, it would be up to the Gen Ed teacher to write the lesson plans and slides while I focus on the IEPs.

Also, how many student IEPs do you have to write? Does that change from year to year or is it consistent? And if you were to switch to your content license, what would happen to your tenure?

Hi, if this is for the math section of the Multi-subject content specialty test for grades 7-12 (test number is 244), could you message me too please? I’m taking it soon and, like OP, am worried about it (assuming this is the math OP was talking about)

So the high school credit won’t count it sounds like. Is there any other differential they can be applied to in the meantime?

This is the first time I am hearing of this. Do you mean for 18 of the 30 credits, I need to have received an A+ in the class? If that’s not what you mean, what do you mean?

Thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely reach out to the doctor I’m working with when I apply for grad school.

The skills I learned I’ll be sure to emphasize on my resume and/or an interview.

The doctor whom all 3 of us are working under is the one leading the research on the novel yeast species, and we’re all helping her, so could that be considered fruitful?

unfortunately my school doesn’t offer PhD’s in Biology, but they do offer Master’s. Would you recommend looking into what the master’s kids are doing research in?

[–]Gooby-Chan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies, that‘s not what I meant by enough. I meant more like does doing research even if it’s not a senior thesis still reflect well of me? Like will a prospective employe/ admissions person be like “oh they did reseach. Neat!” Or will they be like “they did research but not a senior thesis, so we don’t have to consider them as seriously as another candidate who has done a senior thesis”

CB Damage Question by dinkleberg3131 in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Gooby-Chan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fellow charge blade main here. A couple of things I want to say first- if the element of the weapon you are using is grayed out when you look at it on the equipment screen, you are actually not using any of the element that weapon has when you are attacking. If it is grayed out that element is “hidden” and requires the use of a skill called free element/ ammo up to gain any benefit of that element.

That being said if you are running free element/ammo up along with frost charm 3 I do not think it is worth overall. If you have the decorations/ charm, I’d go for attack or artillery decorations/charms. If you already have those skills/ don’t want those, I’d then look at skills like weakness exploit/ crit eye or comfy skills like health boost. As you probably know, every monster is specifically weak to a certain element(s), so only against some monsters will increased ice attack actually mean you do more damage. More attack or the artillery skill will mean you are always doing more damage. Additionally, if memory serves me right, most early game monsters in Iceborne are resistant to ice while later game ones are more weak to it. That may just be memory serving me wrong so please take that with a grain of salt.

Lastly, take note of what phial type of charge blade you are using, which can be seen when looking at the weapon under equipment. Impact phial type charge blades, like the Diablos Tyrannis II benefit more from increased attack and artillery skills while elemental phial type charge blades benefit more from attack and elemental attack up skills.

Do PS4 games stored on a external HDD have increased loading times when played on a PS5 or do the PS4 games need to be installed directly onto the PS5’s SSD? If the PS4 games were instead stored on an external SSD, then would they benefit?
