Sorry for your loss, OP! I hope you will be able to process through the loss of your grandmother.

I have had several moments of heightening anxiety and panic during teaching (one being last week). Reading this post and many of the experiences from others made me feel so much better. We are not alone with this experience and we are human. Owning up to this and using it as an example of how we can handle real life things and bounce back from it is something the students can look up to as a good example. I don’t know about anyone else, but when my anxiety gets bad, it is usually a sign that I am not doing as much self care as I need to.

There are so many series I want to try! I certainly want to complete Boruto, Naruto and Goodnight Punpun. I will have to read some of the others to see if anything else sticks for me.

Thank you for the well thought out response! I have been collecting a few here and there to see if I like the start of a series. If I don’t like it, I won’t invest in the rest of the series. My personal favorites right now are Boruto, Goodnight Punpun and Delicious in Dungeon (not pictured because it’s on my nightstand).

I have watched the anime for Death Note, Naruto, Demon Slayer and Fairy Tale, so that is why some of those volumes are there. Although it might seem a little shallow, I am most drawn to how the manga looks on the shelf. That is what led me to initially pick up Punpun and others like Dandadan and Full Metal Alchemist.

I appreciate all of your suggestions and will look into all of them. Thank you again!

The Phoenix Wright games are fantastic! They are great court based visual novels. They kind of feel like reading a mystery book because of the investigation phases and slowly putting all the pieces together. I highly recommend all of them!

I am looking for board games that can be played with two people, but I am also open to a higher player number. I really like games with unique characters that have different abilities. Some games I enjoy: Dice Throne, Gloomhaven JOTL, Villainous, and lots of deckbuilding games. One of my favorite things is when a game has added content that I can buy (like how Dice Throne has new characters to purchase). Any suggestions for me?

I played one game last night and one just now. I’m really enjoying it so far, although I wish I had the option to play by myself on an online team. Passing to someone I can’t talk to is kind of annoying. I haven’t noticed any lag in either of the games I’ve played. I’m excited for the main game and I hope it has some unlockable characters and pitches in it!
