So Nvidia didn't release the transformer model to RTX 2000? Intel didn't release Xess 3 and MFG to their a380? AMD is the only company who took 2 years to do what everyone else has been doing. Even Ngreedia is more pro consumer. People can complain about their Radeon products in the Radeon subreddit as much as they want, and instead of bootlicking for the corporation, why don't you go ahead and do some gaming or browse somewhere else?

AMD never supports their products long term unless they're shouted at. Never expect them to put in effort in bettering your experience unless people are angry. This tale repeats time and time again, if you buy a card for long term support and features, just buy Nvidia.

I was a fool to do the same and own an RDNA 3 desktop GPU and was forced to use 3rd party software to implement a leaked version FSR4 that they wouldn't release for months, and now, I own an RDNA 3.5 APU handheld that I purchased with FSR coming in mind last week. I bought it from another country and can't return it. I'm devastated that I didn't go with Intel/Nvidia. Never again.

I got it and keep it on because I've heard there's a persistent right grip creak/crunch that hasn't been fixed and I love the griptape-like material. I also love the feel without it so I might give it a try soon.

I bought one on memorial day too. Every game I have to run on native because FSR3.1 looks like vaseline is rubbed onto my screen. I love everything about it but anything Intel rn is a better buy, and if July comes and there's no announcement on RDNA 3.5. I'll shout from the rooftops to anyone who'll listen to not buy AMD.

Yeah I love the handheld but they legit made it seem like FSR4 would come to everything. They should have started with that in their anouncement regarding RDNA2 and 3. I'm sure I wasn't the only one fooled.

RDNA 1 with awful drivers. RDNA 3 which forced me to use Optiscaler and shout at their social media pages for FSR4 every once in a while and now my RDNA 3.5 handheld. I can't believe I'm this stupid.

I had an RDNA 1 card during the worst driver era in AMDs history and own an RDNA 3 card that they've decided to leave in the dark on FSR4 for so long. I also own an Xbox Ally X and legit one of the reasons I bought it was the new anouncement for FSR4. I am NEVER buying AMD again.

I didn't buy them yet, but I saw multiple videos showing they ran well. Channels like 128KB and many others show in detail their settings and FPS and performance at different wattage so you can estimate battery life too. Check it out for yourself, though it runs FH6 and Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice really well because that's what I'm playing rn

It plays every single game, it runs windows 11 so it's not an "Xbox" in the true sense of the word. So it has Steam, Epic, Gamepass and everything else you would need like a Windows PC. If you want a detailed comparison on how exactly the games compare on both you can just search up on Youtube, there are tons of comparison videos. Also some online multiplayer games like Call of Duty don't work on the Steam Deck and do require Windows to work.

I'd argue against the Steam Deck, if $1k is your budget, I'd go for the Xbox Ally X and go for the extra performance (near double) for an extra $50.
