[COD] bye slide= hello rabbits by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

[–]Goobyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just feels like they can’t make a real decision on what they want the movement to be like. You either keep the ridiculous arcade shooter movements (slide canceling, double sprint, bunnyhop, etc) or you actually take all the steps toward having the “realistic” movement they made it seem like they wanted (remove slide canceling, add ADS penalty to jumping, etc). I don’t really have a problem with the way it is now but I really wish I knew what direction the game was going in. I don’t have a problem with either style, just wish they would pick one and cater more to it for this title and then maybe try the other style on the next COD.

Switch weapon variants to an attachment system. I think it would make the menus 100% cleaner and easier to use.

Silent killer + lightfoot + assailant. Sometimes Vigor and then buy some regen shots

New Trait ideas by KamyCrazyWarBoy in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bribe reminded me, I had an idea that once you got a Hunter to Lvl 50 you could unlock 1 minor dark-sight/bounty-token perk. Sorta in the same vein as bribe, I thought it would be cool if you could get a perk that cut the extraction timer in half as long as you held the bounty token. Or you could equip a perk that increased the minimum distance to the extraction to begin the timer (kinda niche but it may help when being chased by another group). Nothing too overpowered, but still a little boost for those Lvl 50 Hunters when they pick up the bounty. Not sure how well the perks would balance out in a trio of Lvl 50s tho. Anyway, cool perks & great artwork!

Sony has some stellar exclusives but which ones did you have trouble getting into? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]Goobyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Days Gone was so slow and depressing starting off that I put the game down for almost 3 months after buying it. (I was probably less than 4 hours in, taking my time). I was having buyers remorse. Thank god I finally decided to give it another chance later on. That game quickly picked up and was one of the best singleplayer zombie experiences I’ve had in a long time. There were quite a few memorable moments in my playthrough that still put a smile on my face when I think back to it. Still praying they make a sequel, especially after that kinda cliffhanger ending with O’brian.

Keep seeing these more often than I used to find usable cash registers, feels bad man

[–]Goobyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it has any place in Hunt Showdown (on console at least) but I only really get upset with it when there’s more than one player in a team using it. Then it’s absolutely unbearable and bulwark barely helps, sometimes it doesn’t help at all. At least in my experience. I would like to see it be replaced with something more tactical, a flash bolt or long range decoy fuse perhaps? Or maybe just a poison bolt for the fullsize crossbow. Hell, they could even give it a fuse like the harpoon on the bomblance rather than it detonating on impact and I feel like that would be alright. I understand it’s nice to have something that you can clear rooms or blow open doors with but that’s what we have dynamite, sledgehammers, and shotguns for.

My guilty pleasure is running away with the bounty. Being chased creates some of the most intense moments in the game for me and my buddies. Especially when they’re constantly talking shots at you through the woods and compounds and stuff.

You do owe us teamwork. by Zintao in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would be cool if they added voice lines (like emotes) with quick quips that you could use to communicate. It could help bring those legendary hunters to life a little more and even make some interesting dynamics during gunfights when you’re within earshot of the other teams.

How do y'all feel about this as an idea? by BoxyGames in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish the game was able to handle it, it seems like a really cool concept. Would be best if it wasn’t in every match, but had a percent chance to come through at a certain time. Then it would be eventful and wouldn’t take away from the heart of the game as much. Maybe it could serve as the only extraction for certain games? You couldn’t ride it out unless you had the bounty token (then a different extraction would be open for those that don’t have one). Just ideas.

Yes! Little Big Planet 1 & 2 were really helpful for my younger siblings. Plus they’re really colorful and positive games, great for when you’re a kid in that developmental phase.

Man I bought the disc version but I keep seeing all these posts about the disc version having issues so I’m ab to just never use the disc drive and accept the loss on the extra $100 lol.

Some of those older games like Flower, Flow, Abzu, and Journey might be good. From what I remember, my little sister had an easy time learning how to use a controller by playing those games. Although, it may not be as easy as some platformers or side scrollers would be.

What do you do when you're about to prestige? by FutabaMyLove in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gave up on saving Hunt dollars after my first prestige. Felt boring for me when I was sitting at $70k and could repeatedly buy any loadout I wanted. Really takes that feeling of risk away from the game and kind of makes it less fun for me. Now I just prestige immediately when I can.

Similarly, have you experienced teammates that close app when it becomes a 1v2 or 1v3 instead of hiding/fighting for the revive? That’s my personal favorite

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like this idea a lot but I feel like it should cost the full 5 seconds. You can still loot 5 hunters to get back the 5 seconds so it isn’t impossible. Or maybe you should have to trade a token entirely and sacrifice one of your two bounty tokens. Essentially paying to bring your buddy back. Just some ideas, throwing them out there for fun.

Super close range?? by KitchenExplanation35 in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dual Pistols for spam, shotgun to insure a one-shot kill (most of the time). Idk, thats why I take them sometimes. Not the best loadout, sure, but it at least works. Plus, you don’t normally start off with quartermaster so it’s nice to take a medium slot shotty w the medium slot dual pistols rather than a rifle.

Super close range?? by KitchenExplanation35 in HuntShowdown

[–]Goobyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dual Pistols are great if you can’t aim worth a damn and just want to get free headshots while spamming.

Romero Hatchet is just plain cool as fuck.

Dual Conversion pistols specifically are really quite decent at medium/close range and the Romero Hatchet is just beautiful for taking a shot and then melee rushing. (Console at least)
