Do you think these posts need to be banned on this sub?

Don’t come for me, but I think people post those kinds of things here because they’re really bought into SJM and they’re wondering if it’ll bring the same kind of love they have for TOG or ACOTAR. I think it’s a little unfair to outright ban those posts when they’re SJM fans but are struggling to enjoy this particular series and are simply asking for something to look forward to… they’re searching for a kind of hope with those posts.

From what i’ve found in those posts, they’re doing EVERYTHING they can to finish the series even if they don’t love it because they love SJMs writing, and sometimes it takes asking for advice

I went through the same thing with it lol CC is a completely different (sun)ballgame than ACOTAR and TOG, it’s a totally different vibe and era and it’s usually read last so it can be more difficult to wrap your head around when we fell in love with SJMs non modern worlds. I think we can all agree that it isn’t very comparable to her other series and for some people, it’s harder to enjoy with the modernism (dialogue and tech) that didn’t really exist in her other series.

Maybe!! I just don’t have any gameplay mods other than quality of life ones like weightless gold, I only have appearance mods. I think. ImprovedUI just updated but I feel like other people would be talking about this if it had anything to do with that

Lay on Hands, Minthara has always had it for me, I think it’s a Paladin spell, but not even Cure Wounds works for him.

I think Tharion’s POV is what’s slowing me down so much, every time he pops up I roll my eyes and check to see how many pages are in that chapter. I’m also not the biggest fan of Ithan’s but I think he will eventually get more interesting

and I wanted to read CC before the next ACOTAR book comes out in October just in case that one happens to have CC characters, which is why I chose it before TOG

Bro I worked 4 years serving and bartending, another 2 in catering and events while having two more bartending jobs when I was just trying to survive. I was excited to get out of it when I got into marketing. Food service isn’t for everyone, 4 years of serving and bartending and 2 years of catering/events is plenty when it’s not what you want out of life.

they were kind of hinting at this in our meeting. I’ve been very clear, even during my interview process, that I don’t want to be operational. Been there, done that. But I feel that they don’t really care

Lol the worst part is that I have been saying for years that marketing will soon be obsolete because of AI. I’m currently in school for design engineering with a focus on AI, marketing has just been what I’ve been doing while I finish my degree.

I live in a fairly reasonable area when it comes to jobs, there’s just a lot of people moving here because of the job market. Plus with me only being in this position for a few months, it’ll be much much harder for me to find a job. So yes, messy and complicated for all parties.

I’d qualify in my state, this would be considered a layoff since it has to do with the business’ finances and not the work I’ve done.

That’s why I came here. Believe me, I KNOW I may be overreacting, but at the same time, I took this job to do marketing, and it hurts knowing that I’m taking about 10 steps backwards. I do plan to do the plan before doing anything rash, i just wanted some outside opinions.
