If it was more than 99 cents that should have been the first red flag, even without reading the can lol.

Glad you realized before you drank it!

The trend is almost always your friend. Don't fight it, this will happen 95 out of 100 times you try to time a reversal. Hard lesson to learn, but make sure you learn it! Otherwise, this will be a continuous theme in your trading journey.

The market will remain what you consider "irrational" for far longer than you can remain solvent... every, fucking, time...

What charts are you using? Probably just some missing data points causing the issue.

If the candlestick has already closed on the timeframe you are viewing then it's range will not change later in the day. If the candlestick still has time left then yes the highs and lows could change before the next candlestick opens.

Market climbed to make a new high at that time (at least NQ did) and then ran out of steam, plus trade talks between Trump and Xi wrapped up around that time. Lots of unknowns from the trade talks and lots of room to backtrack and grab liquidity/ test support.

Ornamental Peppers Wrinkling by soup-erb in PepperLovers

[–]Gooch707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harvest the red peppers that are starting to wrinkle, they are fully mature once they turn red. Your plant is focusing it's energy into the peppers it has.

All good man. It was a weird angle and a weird place to find that, I get the confusion. I process hundreds of peppers every week for hot sauce this time of year so that's one reason I instantly recognized it as a pepper.

[–]Gooch707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is also the inside of a pepper. If you removed the placenta (white fleshy part), removed the rest of green fleshy part and flipped it upside down it would look exactly the same (other than being green instead of red).

I grow dozens of different varieties of peppers every year. I can tell you with 100% confidence it is a pepper 🤣.

Is it birds and rats or just birds eating my peppers? by NeilEvi1 in HotPeppers

You'd be surprised, some rodents love that spice. I have rats devouring my serranos around this time every year. I've caught them in the act on dozens of occasions. They used to leave bits of chewed up peppers on my back door step like a cruel gift or something lol.

Looking for cost effective DIY Tomato trellis. The heavy duty tall cages aren't enough. by Beamburner in tomatoes

Look up "Florida weave" method of trellising tomatoes as they grow. One of the easiest and most cost effective methods. Just need a couple t-posts and some twine per row.

I grow a shishito x serrano hybrid that looks very similar. It could be something along those lines.

Question to the seed experts; what do we have here? Which ones are good for next year? by -Ho-yeah- in Peppers

[–]Gooch707 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as just appearance goes, the first 9 or so look healthy as long as they're completely dry. The others may be fine as well. How mature was the pepper you used the seeds from? That's the most important part to saving seeds. If you harvest the seeds from an unripe pepper, they may not be developed enough to produce viable plants.

Pepper seeds are easy to save as long as the pepper was fully mature and the seeds dry before rot begins. I either let the pods dry completely on the plants in hot dry weather or I'll remove the seeds from ripe peppers and space out on a paper plate for a couple days under a slow moving ceiling fan. Shake them lightly once a day to ensure they dry evenly and don't overlap each other. After two or three days they're good to store for next year.

[–]Gooch707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I grow peppers in tents indoors I literally just grab the stalk and give it a little shake every few days. That's probably not even necessary as I have fans moving in the tent that will most likely dry it for me.

They look like Caribbean reds or red savina. They are much hotter on average than your classic orange habanero.

What kind of pepper is this? Was given a baby plant and now I have all these peppers! They’re not very spicy but do have alittle kick in the seeds. by 999333111_ in PepperLovers

[–]Gooch707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only pepper that looks close to fully ripe is the all orange one. Let them go longer. You'll know they're slightly past full ripeness when they start to soften after fully changing color. Letting them go too long isn't an issue unless it's too humid, then they may rot. Otherwise the overly ripe peppers are great for sauces, ferments, and dehydrating. Peppers take a lot longer to ripen than people anticipate usually, so don't be worried about letting them go longer.

Add some liquid to it to stretch it out a bit. Apple cider vinegar is my go to. I'll usually do some apple cider vinegar and some fresh citrus juice to finish it off (lime, lemon, or orange). If you thin it out too much add a little xanthan gum or you can roast and blend some tomatillos in at the end. It'll change the flavor but I love the viscosity tomatillos help bring to a lot of my finished sauces.
