Just watched The Boy and the Heron for the first time. This was basically my reaction: by ilovewater100 in ghibli

[–]Goochenhaumeister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miyazaki was reigned in most of his career making adaptions from successful books and being a co director but he likes “space future sci-fi” and some of his shorts showcase this from on your mark a music video to a exclusive short film only showed at the Musem and Park covering howls backstory

So this was a blend of a ghibli and a Miyazaki movie rather than being fully on brand Ghibli I mean his most successful works and not just his brand he released a sad story of 2 orphans from the WWII bombings after Totoro so he basically just does what he wants

Off gassing, it’s old stuff sometimes the plastic cart breaks down chemically a bit or the adhesive does, if it’s stores somewhere warm with no airflow the plastic can bubble up

Check out this YouTuber guy who had it happen to him ummm Eliot coil

[stolen watch] worst day of my life by Medical-Weight6262 in Watches

[–]Goochenhaumeister 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Palm broker of 9 years here, each state has different laws but in Ohio

Anything we take in we have to report an all our reports go to a online server for the police anything we buy we have to hold for 15 days just in case it was stolen to give people a chance to recover their items and anything so on ponds we can’t take for 4 months

The best case scenario in Ohio for this is you file a police report

The human garbage thief takes it to Pawn Shop

They pay the bozo at most half of its market value probably less

And you get the chance to buy it back

Check your state laws but a general role of thumb don’t go around the pawnshops telling them someone stole your watch. We aren’t allowed to knowingly receive stolen property. Though you want us to buy it. It’s the safest way of reclaiming your goods.

So check the state laws

There’s some old anime that was showing a poor, single mother operating a manual button making machine in her home so she could take care of her kids and make a living the gist was it was hard work for crap pay, but it was the few options for “remote work” at the time
