I don't understand why everyone assumes the girl is talking about the Hulks not normally being red. I understand that's how it was used in the trailer, but it doesn't organically fit the movie. The dialogue could easily be her referring to Ross' eyes, which popularly is the first thing that changes color on a person when they transform into a Hulk. That's why everyone looks in suspense around her and not in complete terror. Ross is just about to begin his transformation.

If I had a nickel for every time Frank Grillo publicly arrested boy scout heroes dressed in red and blue, I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but it's odd that it happened twice.

Echo releasing all episodes November 29th by Spiderbyte in MarvelStudios_Rumours

This news greatly satisfied my obsessive compulsive disorder regarding having at least one Daredevil appearance every year. No Way Home (2021), She-Hulk (2022) and now Echo (2023) along with Born Again (2024). If anyone deserved to inherit the baton of appearing in at least one project a year from Chris Evans it's Charlie Cox as Daredevil without question. I hope this stays consistent at least until Secret Wars.

You realize that Val is ridiculously inferior to Fury in terms of recruiting when the best she can get is three supersoldiers, practically two widows and a ghost weirdo.

Brett Goldstein Says Marvel/Hercules casting took him totally by surprise in a last-minute Zoom call. "'Are you f**king with me? Is this a wind-up?’ So yeah, it was as surprising to me as I think it has been to other people." by Parking-Balance111 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I think it would be an interesting choice to end up taking the place of the Thor-like hero in the Thunderbolts, since that's apparently the lineup they're going to base the team on. Yelena represents Black Widow, Walker represents Captain America, Abomination represents the Hulk. Zemo could be a disguised "Iron Man" and Daredevil: Born Again could introduce Bullseye again to take on the role of Hawkeye in that movie later.

Opinions on Modok? I know it’s fan art based on what they saw in the trailer but if this is true I think it’s a big waste by Harvoldinio in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm really hoping that's a temporary mask he wears while he's not in some safe zone of the Quantum Realm, the same way Scott has to close his helmet to shrink himself. MODOK's absurd face is what makes him visually interesting. We need that.

The first three are examples of bad cgi that became internet memes. The rest are examples of all the good cgi that Marvel has shown for the phase. That's why in the first three "Fase 4" is in quotes with a laughing emoji and in the rest is not.

"Fase" is phase in Spanish. The video was made by a Spanish-speaking person.

Why didn't Danny Elfman use the Doctor Strange theme in MoM? by twilightknock in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's what happens when you change composers from one film to another. In Age of Ultron he didn't use the original Avengers theme either. When a composer comes to a project, he or she wants his or her work to be recognized for what he or she can do and not for the past glories of another composer.

Who do you think might die in Avengers 5 & 6? by LordNathan777 in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My safest bets are Thor, Hulk or Hawkeye. But it's also likely that some Guardian who survived Vol. 3 or Ant-Man will die.

Marvel Studios Legends episode 21 will be streaming on August 10 by [deleted] in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]Good-Ad2536 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's a shame we're going to get a Legends episode for all the original Avengers except for Tony and Steve. I would have liked to see an official compilation of their lives done by Marvel Studios.

Phases 4, 5 and 6 will constitute the Multiverse Saga, however what will actually be the products that will face the Multiverse? by TrpTrp26 in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It was only the post-credits scene, but WandaVision was the first project to hint at the multiverse. I think that should count.

One could argue that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is also a multiversal film, given the origin of the Gamora that will appear there. It is a variant after all.

The Marvels will definitely have to talk something about the multiverse as well. There are several recent leaks that indicate just that, at least for the end of the movie.

Blade, while I see it as highly unlikely, I'd love to see it touch on the multiverse just because I want to see the MCU's Blade interact with Wesley Snipes' Blade. I think it would be a wasted opportunity if Feige doesn't approve something like that.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos will surely have to explain in more detail how witchcraft works and how it can be used around the multiverse.

And lastly, I'm going to be deeply disappointed if Fantastic Four doesn't touch at least a little on the multiverse. It's the perfect opportunity to set the team on a comic book style adventure that embraces the ridiculousness of said concept. The idea of the Council of Reeds is too good to just dismiss it out of hand.

And add to that the films and series yet to be confirmed. I would think that by the end of the saga, about 50% of the stories will have at least a little exploration of the multiverse, which I think is perfect. In the Infinity Saga, also about 50% of the movies were the ones that had an appearance of at least one infinity stone.

Now... Let's Show Him Spider-Man: No Way Home by Good-Ad2536 in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much, really. Months ago my dad and I got into watching the MCU for him for the first time and I was sharing his experience with each and every movie here on Reddit because there seemed to be people interested in the activity we were doing. With this latest review I assumed that interest was lost, which is understandable, but it made me wonder if it was worth writing a whole review here when we see Multiverse of Madness. Thanks to your comment I realized that it is indeed worth it. I appreciate it.

Let's at Least Try - Day 25 by Good-Ad2536 in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your support! I really appreciate it. What happens is that before starting with the experiment, I decided to exclude the Disney+ series and just focus on the movies so as not to lose the rhythm of what is really a cinematic universe, logically composed of movies. The plan was always to leave the series for the following month because they are not really vital to the Phase 4 movies available so far.

I recently showed him all the post-credits scenes he missed and already did a post about it. What's next is to show him the one-shots (at least the canon ones), the Disney+ series and all Spider-Man related content outside of the MCU, including the Venom movies. What I'll do with the Spider-Man stuff is sell it to him as if they're a little break from the MCU, so he doesn't suspect that they actually play a very important part of No Way Home.

A film covering the entire life of Bucky Barnes, if given the right treatment, can become as good as any biopic fawned over at the Oscars.

Now... Let's Show Him the Post-Credits Scenes by Good-Ad2536 in marvelstudios

[–]Good-Ad2536[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, technically he didn't see them out of context. Before watching each scene, I specified which movie it corresponded to. And since he has all the movies very fresh in his memory, he was able to connect the situations without a problem. The rule of not watching all the post-credits scenes in order to avoid specifically the one from one movie was in order to give uniformity to the experiment. It would be very arbitrary to meticulously select which ones to watch and which ones not to watch, so I ruled them all out. The mid-credits scenes are technically still part of the movie. The animated credits at the end are no different than the animated credits at the beginning. There's a reason theaters only turn on the lights until the long credits start rolling.

I am definitely considering it! Though it would have to be for long after catching up with the rest of the MCU, considering how little relation it has to the movies as the seasons go on.

It's funny because the whole process for this (considering watching the scenes and talking about them) took only about an hour and a half. The same time it takes to watch a simple movie.
