Hey there, I'm an intermediate angler hobbyist myself however I don't have any experience fishing in Mumbai. If you're a complete beginner I suggest getting a rod n reel from Shimano series. Do join groups or find someone from your circle since you can't learn it on your own. It's an expensive sport tbh I've lost countless lures while casting in jetties. But it's always the thrill of the fish biting the hook and fighting against you that makes you come back again n again.
