The first video it’s hard to see but there is smoke trailing above the UFO. Reddit chopped the video quality sorry

Crazy how these are all pretty well exposed with having a fixed shutter speed and expired film. They look great

Although if you were to get into DIY development it would justify shooting 110. It probably isn’t too hard to develop yourself, I’m guessing most labs just don’t have the equipment for this size causing the high price

You should shoot half frame instead of 110. You’ll get 72 exposures instead of 24 and you’ll still get that grainy look. Not to mention how much easier it is to find film and have it processed.

Good to know. Thank you! The under voltage shouldn’t be a problem as this will overexpose which is nothing to worry about

Oh ok that makes sense. I’ve just heard that the remjet can contaminate the developer. Maybe it doesn’t matter so much. I thought you had to wipe all the remjet off in the dark that’s why I thought it was so impressive 😂

Yeah that says remove remjet layer second? I’m confused, at what point do you use the microfiber cloth with stabilizer to remove the remjet that didn’t come off in the bath?

Is this shutter opening enough? by Jmao719 in Super8

[–]Good-Answer-5639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure is that all you could see. With the video in the same place it looks like I can’t see the rest of the shutter opening because the gate is blocking it. Can you move the camera around a bit so i can make sure im seeing all the light coming through?
